The only constructive feedback I have is that your "not just a pretty face" or other references to looks is, in my opinion, outdated. Your other comments are right on target! Thank you for offering this training tool for people looking for administrative positions.
The volume levels are working great on our end, you will need to check your setting on whatever device you are watching on. You can also check the youtube volume control aside from your device settings.
I am a gradute of Hotel and Restaurant Management. I just recently resigned from my previous job and would like to change my career as an Administrative Assistant. I started applying admin assistant jobs, and went to a lot of interviews for the position but I've never been considered or atleast move to final interviews. I don't know whats wrong. Can you give me any advise. Thank you
Jonathan, it can be very tough if you are going up against the experienced competition. You should be sure that you have your best foot forward and start with a dynamic resume. Anything that you can apply from your previous jobs that you can translate into the job you are applying for is a must. Googling resumes for admins is a good place to start. Second, you need to highlight the skills you have for what they are looking for. Lastly, persistence. It may take some time but the more you are applying the greater chances you have. I started an Administrative position over a year ago and absolutely hate it. Working in the C-suite with a bunch of “I” people, they are not team oriented and more ego driven and can’t take my intellect which includes just as much as exposure to health care as them. So this position is not for me which my friend told me before I took the position.
