Man! I was looking for so long to find info on people using FD lenses on xp3 and could barely find anything. I went for it anyways and I got to say, I’m loving the results so far. Glad to see I’m not the only one who still appreciates FD glass. Nice work!
Cheers! That’s class. What lens have you been playing with??
@@rossandhisjpegs I have the 50 1.4 to try soon, but I’ve been using the 28 2.8 for now. I really like the length on a crops sensor. It’s about a 45 equivalent which I’m very used to from my contax G1
Next level content. Keep making it.
Thank you thank you
Yep really nice ! Thank you
Thanksss
Great photos 👍🏼
Cheers 👊
Your content is amazing! Thinking on getting a Xpro3!!
Thanks so much. Yeah you should, they're beautiful cameras. Not the best for video but such an awesome travel camera!
Just started searching for a good adapter/vintage lens for the xh2s and saw this!
Great! Definitely check out Urth for all your adapter needs.
Hi, do you notice that the 50mm is morr zoomed in on digital cameras ? Compared to that on a film camera. Is there a way to crop the sensor ? Im new to digital cameras and noticed this when i tried it.
Do you use any film recipe? Or just use the film simulation as a base for editing?
The photographs in this video are edited in Lightroom!
Nice one! I did the same with my XH2S, recorded a Video and uploaded it here! :)
Sweet. Good to know :)
good morning
How do you set the aperture ? ? ? ? ?
Hey! So sorry I thought your comment was on the video I put out today haha so just ignore my previous response. Make sure you have 'shoot without lens' turned on in your camera's settings. The URTH adapters have a little on/off ring which allows aperture of the adapted lens to be seen by the camera. Hope that makes sense and helps. Sorry for the confusion!
another great video Ross here in the states it’s fairly easy to find those FD lenses and local pawn shops, and you can usually buy them for a few dollars apiece because they can’t get rid of them. When you get a chance check the DM‘s on your Instagram I sent you a message on there, sir
Hello from Canada. Do you think, over time, lens adapters might somehow compromise the mount of the camera?
Hello! I have not found that myself no. Is that your experience??
