How to make a watch from Metro 2033

Hi everyone! In this video I'll show how to make a watch from Metro 2033 Last Light. The case is made of stainless steel, electronics is based on a micro controller Arduino. A lot of sweat went to place everything densely in such small watch case. An offline work takes 6 hours, in a saving mode it can take a day. The watch has a revers timer just like in the game. I also want to make a watch from Metro Exodus as soon as this game will be released and the final watch model will be shown.

Dude this is sick! I love the metro games and I'd love to try and copy you to make my own but I don't have the tool or skill. I'm trying to make a simple electronic clock now and hope one day I can make something like this.

I think it would be insanely cool if you started manufacturing these for sale. Plenty of people, including myself, would love any kind of Metro watch.
I would also like to say that you could use blue luminescent paint in the light. It would save on battery life but would not glow in the day of course.

Did he just smash working nixie tubes because I'm confused why you could just use the nixies sure the watch will be bigger but it will look and feel more authentic
Nixie tubes require wayy more power to run, in theory its possible, but it wouldnt fit inside the casing. It looks more like the one from Exodus rather than from last light.

You should make the flamethrower from Rust. That would be really cool to see.
I think that this won't be possible since he could go into jail even if the flamethrower would be a non-functional replica. Yeah, the laws in his country actually suck but at least he's not living at Germany. There we have even worse laws : P

@@areus2016 yeah, would also like to see the flamethrower and the hand crank generator which would actually only charge a small capacitor but maybe he will do it some day if he makes sure to hide his face from reflecting items ;)
I'm sure he could be found even if he hides his face. If he does, then he would never be able to show it on his yt again.
Do you think it's possible to Frankenstein your way into making this watch? I'd rather get parts from old watches than grind down metal and whatnot
I’m going to make this watch, but my problem is... i can do wiring, but i know absolutely nothing about working with steel (or whatever differend material lmao)

Nixie tubed are a massive pain in the arse to use. And if you would use them in a watch, that watch would be bulky af.
