Hey friends and rhythm nerds! In this video I explore a Hybrid Rudiment new to me: the Book Report! I break it down into its individual components and share how I would practice something new in terms of a somewhat challenging rudimental pattern. I was a little bit nervous while filming since I tried to present something I’m new at, in a more honest and vulnerable way but I trust that the point came through anyway. I hope you also can appreciate the electrical tape + cymbal stand tripod, and my best efforts to deal with the constantly changing light.. Haha!

NOTE: I just realised that technically the grace note on the flams would be better off notated on the opposite side, to reflect which hand plays them. I think you get the point either way, just thought I'd mention that. Hope you enjoy the video! :)
