Zedd - Spectrum (Assertive Remix)

Hey guys! Wow, it's been quite a while since I've uploaded anything complete. Ever since the term started, I've been finding myself not having much time to produce music. I also tend to start things and never finish them, which is why I have upwards of 100 works in progress throughout my producing lifetime. Don't worry though, I'm still here, and I'll still be posting things when I can!
This is a remix I did of Zedd's spectrum. I heard this song at a dance I went to and just had to remix it - I've been working on this on and off for probably over a month. I think the base song was done a few weeks ago, but I spent a lot of time nitpicking over really tiny details most people probably wouldn't notice. I'm pretty satisfied with the end result, though I'm a bit sick of hearing my own song so many times. :P

Yeah, I tried to go for a kind of genre fusion with this, I think it turned out okay :P
Just checked out your remix, it's pretty great! I noticed some similar parts from my small dnb section, kinda funny to hear. I love the vocal glitching around the 3 minute mark, though now I'm feeling kinda sad that I didn't incorporate any vocal chops in mine, haha.

I wouldn't call it happy hardcore, happy hardcore are artists like xi. This is just more like hardcore/rave combined with DnB. Still though, a solid 12/10 for me. Assertive, you are such an amazing artist and I love that you are going so many places with concerts etc. Just magnificent.
