The guy in the new Broly movie is one of my favorite DB "villains" of all time, but he isn't Broly. Broly is an unthinking, unreasonable force. He's not supposed to be an actual character, he's Power Unleashed, a force of nature, Pandora's Box opened. He isn't supposed to have a complex reason for what he does. A single word is supposed to be enough to unleash his unthinking power, and nothing but destroying him is supposed to stop him. You don't fucking Vegeta him, you don't make him a potential ally, you can't talk to him. The only thing he knows is destruction once he's unleashed.
