Jeff Parker - The Jazz guitar master interviewed by Michael Rütten

In June 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting an absolute music legend in Frankfurt: Jeff Parker. Together with Josh Johnson on sax, Anna Butterss on bass and Mikel Patrick Avery on drums, he performed music that he had developed during his residency at the bar "Enfield Tennis Academy" in LA. Before the ETA IVtet started playing, Jeff sat down with DJ and radio host Michael Rütten to talk about his creative process (inspired by Hip Hop), musical collaborations - Tortoise, Meshell Ndegeocello, Makaya McCraven just to name a few - and about the experience of connecting with live audiences.
