Roger Brooks, Terry Dawson, and Brad Harris we’re all my former band/color guard instructors! So glad I got to see you guys perform in your last years!
Could it have been a secret (corps society) nod to the Anaheim "K"ingsmen??? At any rate, LOVED these guys. I lamented their disappearance. But if I'm not mistaken, this art form (as in park entertainment) took expression in Tom Float's creation of "The Trashcan Trio". David Rameriz, Float, and a handful of other extremely talented guys filled that role brilliantly.
It was a mouse decision. I think the powers to be thought our name would sound and look better if there was a "K" in corps instead of a "C". Strike it up to being a Disney thing.
The Magic Kingdom Korps were based at Disneyland in Anaheim California. The group in Florida were called Future Corps and they played at Epcot.
I am in love with the triple bass
Roger Brooks - Bass Drums
Dave Gonzales - Snare
Vern (Johnson?) - Tenors

Go Dave G!
I miss this group.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that they performed from 1992 to 1998.
