Got to get one ! Might help me with my bad back! Have to be extremely careful after 3 surgeries and a spinal fusion.
Short sleeves? WoW. GP, I am jealous. It is still sweatshirt weather here in MN. Nice improvements on the Log Ox! I still love mine too! Cheers!

Good morning and thanks Dave! Have a great day!!
I must say Gord, that you do an excellent job of representing and demonstrating the products that you use and represent.
Have a great day out there Wayne!
GP,,, Your living proof, the different between men and boys are the price of their toys. :)
LOL! Good morning Bear!
Yep, nice wood lot tool.
Just ordered a Forester package to Australia, ooooh lord that shipping 😬 a touch over 700AUD altogether to get it here, but I can't wait to test it out!
Oh boy - shipping hurts for sure. All the best and hope you enjoy using it!
I love seeing improvements on tools that make them better! Thanks for showing us GP!
Looks cool Gordon cheers
Good Video Gord, Thanks for Sharing !
That’s one sweet tool there gord! My brother and I split a couple face cords this past weekend and I’m tired of bending over to pick the logs up!
Nice job god blesd
I lost a R pin the first time I used it over a year ago... I found a pin last week. Must be for the log ox...lol... thanks for helping me figure this out...
I'm tempted to weld a foot on my older version 😀
Hi Gord! Good to see LogOx has made a great tool even better. Excellent improvements. Thanks for sharing!
Good morning Martin! Hope you are keeping well good sir!
Great video showing the improvements to the LogOX. I bought mine just after the changes were made, so it came with all the improvements.
Great video, someday I will get one, great demo on the new one
Thanks Larry!
Gord I had to turn phone upside down to see what saw you running just kidding I to turn my bars every chain exchange. I all for cut 80% n roll log vs prop up for 2 cuts. Bill Chadwick IL
LOL! Thanks Bill!
Great update GP. Work safe
nice upgrade, and that saw was very sharp, too.
It's funny, I could have bought 3 of those LO's with all of the time i've spent sharpening chain from sawing dirt, but I just keep on sawing that dirt!
LOL! Good evening Mitch!
Garden you always make my day ! So thorough on explaining things and so kind ! If more people were like you the world be a lot better ! Thanks for taking your time to share !
Thanks very much Abe. Have a wonderful day!
Great video as always Gord. The improvements to the Log Ox have me wanting one more than ever. Having the proper tools and equipment sure make completing tasks safer and more enjoyable.
Great improvements. Thanks GP for showing that. Maybe see ya on ED’s live tonight 👍✊
Great job Gord, stay safe and what a great tool !
You too Mike!
I think Mark is upset he bought his 2 months ago…😂
Nice video, Gord. Some good improvements from LogOx. Keep up the great work!
🤫Thanks James - Keep smiling!
Always thought that was a great tool...looks even better now! Nice demo Gord! 👍😎👍
Cheers Chris!
Gord, just a great video! Short, not to much dialogue, new LogOx, chain sawing and splitting firewood! It just doesn’t get any better than this! 😉👍🤩
Have a great day out there Jim!
Great video Gord, I really like the improvements on the LogOx. They do save on the back for sure. Stay safe and keep up the good videos and fun. Fred.
Good morning and thanks again Fred! Really appreciated it and can't thank you enough. Cheers!
The 462 will really eat through that size of wood nicely... I imagine you'll really enjoy that
Can't wait to get it
Just purchased a LogOX. sure wish I would have known this a few weeks ago. I haven't even used it yet
Hi Gord, nice video, seeing that nice size log, and maybe a few more, that would make some nice milled boards for your shed, save a few $$$, giving you the rustic look if you want, that you started way back lol 😆
That LogOX makes life a lot easier. Did you buy the log splitter? Thanks for the post my friend. Later
Good evening Mech. Not yet but still loving it - Take care!
Gord look’s like a good work out, good to see the old Stihl running good ,time to give Guy, sum fun. Great videos keep on cutting .like the new log ox
You bet Brian!
Well GP, you might as well send me your old one, seeing as you’re not gonna need it lol. Thanks for the video
I love my Log Ox! I have the older version and my only complaint is the relatively small footing. I spend a lot of time on hilly terrain and the footing was too small to keep things stable. Your video reminds me that I lost a pin last time I used the logox…thanks for the subtle reminder!
I thought it was just me. I stopped using it to raise logs to cut, it just tipped over because the foot plate was too skinny. Bad design. It's hook is also not sharp enough. I don't know where or how they designed this thing, but it must have been using light wood. It's almost useless w/ hardwoods.
How's she goin'? Lots of improvements and it seems like they are working out OK. Take care!!!
Morning Grampie! Some good changes for sure. I had already lost two R Pins...LOL!
I think I like all the changes they've made to the logox, especially the pins! The other pins keep falling out. Did you mention how much longer the new handle is? On another topic, have you tried to split any rounds on that splitter that weren't cut straight? Some of mine (ok, most of mine lol) tend to be slanted. On a horizontal splitter it doesn't really matter, but I was curious about how the vertical splitter would handle them. Thanks GP. 😁👨🚒
Good morning DA. Great question and yes indeed - lots. LOL. For some reason I am not too good at cutting square ends. Much better than a horizontal. A slanted end on the horizontal often will try to escape or jump away on me as it compresses into the wedge. I have learned that the same thing happens on the AXIS except for one significant difference. On the AXIS, I turn the round so the highest side of the slant faces toward the back. This way when the round begins to compress under the wedge, and the round tries to jump or escape, it will move into the big back rail, and it stops in place and can't move. I'll try to show it on an upcoming video. Hope you are well!
@ 4:13 So close to the "Big Foot"!
Oh yeah, almost forgot, ...w00t!
LOL! I got a w00t!!!
Can this work on larger logs 30 + inches in circumference?
Real cool how do I contact that guy about new log ox . Great videos
Good morning Daniel! their website is thelogox dot com. Cheers!
Nice tool, great improvements. How much heavier is the new version?
It is a little heavier but minimal - not concerning at all. It's beefier for sure JO!
@Jelen OutDoors the previous version was 13.5 lbs and the upgraded version is 15.5 lbs total. The Hauler (where it really matters) has stayed exactly the same at 6.2 lbs.
Thanks, that is a decent weight.
Darn… I just bought my LogOx 2 months ago after seeing your video 😂😢
LOL! Cheers Mark!
Whats he price on this little beasty ?
Good day Skeets. $297 CDN on the logOX website. 👍
@@GPOutdoors Thank you my friend
Why aren’t you using that grapple no picking up logs n no braking the back. I know what you going to say . You need the exercises lol .
LOL! The chainsaw pants are fitting a little bit tighter this Spring Ron! :))
You are standing on the wrong side of the log !!!You should be at the same side as the handle!!
$486? What joke! Let me guess you got it for free because of your channel.
