With the death of my father and the legitimization of all his bastards upon his deathbed, I, Daemon Blackfyre, greatest of all the bastards, raise my own standard in rebellion against the weak pretender who currently sits the Iron Throne.
The Lord Paramounts of the realm have grown fat and lazy from gold and persuasion from House Targaryen, but the people know and love their true king, Daemon Blackfyre, the Black Dragon! With their support, my own personal legions and the Valyrian Sword of Kings, I will march on King's Landing, smash the armies of the weak pretenders and create a new dynasty that will eclipse the Targaryens of old and will rule for the next thousand, thousand years!
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the first ever Blackfyre Rebellion for the channel! We will follow Daemon Blackfyre's campaign to take the Iron Throne as prophesied by the late king upon his deathbed! With Blood and Fire, we will cast down the Targaryens and create a dynasty that will expand across this world!
Crusader Kings 2 is a real time strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive and the Game of Thrones overhaul was developed by the CK2:AGOT development team. (At least that’s what it says on moddb)
Not sure which CZcamsr got me into CKii or AGOT, but regardless, the amount of freedom and replayability that the game offers makes it utterly worthwhile purchasing.

Another game of throne series?? Awesome dude. U can form an alliance with Tyrosh, and by marrying some sons an alliance with Starks and Baratheons (Not canon but what the hell). Daemon died in the battle because he made an honorable and stupid mistake. He just won a duel against a Corbray i think, but he didnt killed him and helped the guy instead. He leave the command of his army for a while and that gives time to the Targaryens to rally the archers of Brynden and they killed Damon when he was helping the Corbray dude.
Yes, I read about the folly of the Redgrass field, vale? Don't recall the name of the battle precisely, but yes, he dueled a Corbray and by doing so his men were forced to face the enemy while Daemon was distracted. We will not make this same mistake.

The Battle of Farring Cross was a gruesome slaughter. The Blackfyre leader, known as Daeron Blackfyre, had rushed into the thick of battle, beating back enemy soldiers alike. His men stood in awe as he used his ancestral sword, known only as "Blackfyre" to snap the blade of a minor lordling, duel two knights from his brothers retinue, and cut through seventeen men-at-arms like a scythe in a wheat field. His own men cheered him on, and praised his name through the night.
The next target was Kings Landing, and taking Daemon's children captive. Daeron and his army besieged the great city, and began to turn the the tide of the war into their favor quickly.
Weeks past as the siege of Kings Landing occurs, and the attackers dwindle the defenders to their core. Bolts, arrows, rocks, spears, and other weapons were used again't the walls of Kings Landing, but the beisgers had sent men up all around and sent the defenders thin. Even the best of knights could not repel these men. Finally, the Blackfyre's took the great city, and marched to meet the enemy a Dalston Keep.
I think you may have the characters names switched. It is Daeron's babies we are trying to capture and Daemon is the Blackfyre leader. I like the description of the battle of Farring Cross, the enemy truly stood no chance against The Black Dragon.

@@pigeonthemenace9454 They were and despite the name flip, I knew exactly who you were talking about. Would have been really weird if you were using names that weren't even in the series. "The Great Morton surrounds the city of King's Landing to capture the sons of the young boy king Arthur!"

I second this !! Also, when anyone is playing this scenario run kings landing and do battle there. You can either gain a advantage via war score or luckily capture the king in battle.

I swear Daemon is so fun man. I've legit got all the regions almost 90+ in opinion, 270k troops, and sadly I had to kill my step-grandson in order to see if I could tame his dragon which I did! 2 eggs were left, a non targaryen in the trident tried to hatch but failed and Aerion succeeded, until his suspicious death! Good luck on the series.
Here is hoping I can come close to that. I sort of see this series being the sister series to Aegon's Conquest. Only with a Blackfyre dynasty. Which by default will be way cooler.

Daemon made fatal mistake : he went to the battle just with his two oldest sons and got pincushed by Brynden ,, Bloodraven " , Waters , ( who you can know as Three Eyed Crow ) and his personal archer regiment called Ravens Teeth. When Daemon died, Aegor Bittersteel ( future founder and the first Captain - General of the Golden Company ) challenged Brynden to a duel. They fought for hour and Aegor managed to cut Bloodravens left ( right ? ) eye. Bittersteel then ran off to Essos, founded the Golden Company and you know the rest. Sorry if you already know this but I just wanted to make a little recap XD
It's a great recap. I've read the story about how the war occurred in the lore and knew that victory hinged on not repeating the same mistake. We faced the Bloodraven in battle and forced him to retreat without letting Daemon get distracted in a pointless duel. Now, a duel between Daemon and the King would be much more worthwhile.
@@joeblivion3472 If I remember correctly , Daeron never was a swordsman. He was more of a diplomat and was of kinda weak constitution. He would have to use one of the Kingsguard to duel

@@joeblivion3472 Well, he wasnt a complete coward ( otherwise he wouldnt wage war against Daemon ) . Like pissing himself, he would never do it. As I said, he was better as diplomat and steward, but he wasnt a warrior. And he was one of the smarter people. That can be proven that he said that famous line : ,, When Targaryen is born, gods flip the coin and the entire world watches in awe ,, . That proves he was really smart and non lunatic. Always love me the Lannisters, someone suggested playing as Cersei when she is paramount of the West and I like the idea of her rising to become Queen of The West. Tywin is such a badass though. I just haven't gotten the event in game where Tywin's armies sack King's Landing yet.
@@joeblivion3472 I definitely think Tywin could take the throne. I'd love to see a long series of that. Cersei would be a weird series. Just because I hate her lol But I love Lannisters. The problem with Cersei is that everyone hates her. Everyone respects Tywin. Hes the one who held everything together for so long, not Robert.
@@NoBody-kv3yd Tywin can take the throne, easy. I've done it many times. He is almost TOO good at times. I would love to see a young Tywin playthrough, in all honesty. Too many bookmarks with him, he is getting a bit up there in years. Perhaps a Reyne-Tarbeck Rebellion, only from the perspective of a young Tywin? Perhaps we could spare the Reynes? Force the survivors into becoming wards or flat out destroy them all in new creative ways?!
@@joeblivion3472 Wouldn't Tytos be the ruler though? Tyson wasn't even a lord when he did that. It would be an awesome series though. I'd love a more up to date Lannister series.
@@NoBody-kv3yd You are correct, it would be Tytos. Is Tywin unlanded at that time? If so, you cannot really play him. Less you give him land with console then decide to play as him.
Just a curiosity about the blackfyre rebelion and the battle of the redgrass field.
Daemon was actually winning the battle and the war and was leading his vanguard himself, however one of Daeron The Good kingsguard, Sir Gwayne Corbray stopped Daemon charge and saved the Targaryens from a major defeat. Daemon and Gwayne both fought using Valiryan Steel sword and where pretty even, they fought for an entire hour and it's Said that it was the finest duel the seven kingdons ever had, and that the whole battlefield in one momment simply stoped to watch those two monsters dueling, until Daemon finally defeated Gwayne, however instead of killing off Gwayne and rushing to victory, Daemon ordered his men to stand down so that Gwayne wouldn't be sttomped to death, then he took Gwayne to his maester to Heal him, that gave time to the Targaryen loyalist and main Commander to take his archers up a strategic point and he used it to rain arrow on Daemon, killing him and both his older sons. Them Baelon Breakspear and Maekar The Anvy, sons of king daeron came with reinforcements and saved the Targaryens by smashing Blackfyre forces with their cavalry (Baelor commanded the cavalry while Maekar commanded the infantry).
At the end Aegon Bittersteel managed to save some of the Blackfyre men and during his retreat he got the Blackfyre Sword and dueled Brynden Rivers, he managed to take out one of Brynden eyes and could have killed him, however he was forced tô retreat since.his forces where already destroyed.
Daemon mistake was being too honorable, if not for that, he could have won, however it was also daemon honor that made people see him as a true king, and also his great battle prowess, some say that Daemon fought like the warrior himself (one of the seven God's). In my opinion Daemon deserved to win, but we know that in Martin books, those that deserves best are the ones that gains the least, like Stannis the Mannis and Robb Stark.
Well said EggTachi! From my understanding it was Daemon's duel with Gwayne Corbray that cost him the battle. From a battle strategist's perspective, getting slogged down in the mud and 1 v 1 dueling people is a sure fire way to lose control of the battlefield. Even if Daemon had killed every man who got in his way, which he seemingly could very well have, there is always the chance that the enemy commander is watching and commanding his troops to encircle, flank, feign retreat, entrap your forces. I understand that when you are in the thick of it, the battle that is, you can lose strategic and tactical sense and in that instance, fighting everyone seems like one of the few remaining good ideas.
I think there is always room for honor, but it takes a very strategically sound individual or group of people to be able to win a battle and war in a way where you do not have to be ruthless to win. You say that Daemon lost because of his sense of honor, I say he lost because he didn't plan out his battles well enough to accommodate his sense of honor. Same goes for Robb Stark. If he had been smarter in planning and executing his war strategies, then for all intents and purposes, he could have done just about whatever he liked, as long as he had planned ahead accordingly.

An easier way and a folly of daemon is to betrothe one of his Many daughters to the baratheons lyonel preferably and get an alliance with him 4/5 of the times I played they accepted the fifth I believe I messed up and made them hate me but all in all they help alot they are right next to kings landing so daeron has to focus on them allowing you to easily make your way down to siege and win battles so yeah its a thing that you can do just depends on the way you do it I guess

What's the goal with the Hightower series? When in the timeline will it be?
Taking place during Queen Margaery's reign, because someone told me to. Then with that series, I want to explore the alchemists guild and all things relating to learning and scholar and theology. Not sure how that will all work out, but I figured it would be a good way to learn about some of that stuff.

@@joeblivion3472 that's why I'm asking. To be honest though, I've kinda been wanting more of a "boring" run through, but I'd prefer that during a more peaceful time as a Targaryen so your kids can rule and have dragons and shit, but also delve into magic. I just love the family line aspect. Seeing how different the kids are and the different traits they earn. And I feel like series where theres alot of fighting, it impacts the time progression. That's why Aegon is still alive in the Aegon series lol I'm excited either way. I just love watching the families grow and the alliances made. But its definitely more fun when you're ruling over westeros. Otherwise your armies are small and easily beaten and you lose alot of options.
@@NoBody-kv3yd Yes, minor lords tend to get 'stuck' when it comes to their options. I'd have to play with 4x or 5x speed to justify not going around and attacking everyone. House Hightower in the Reach would be relatively safe and unable to do much. If we enable it so EVERYONE can raid, then I could see it being a bit more interesting.
In your army view The arrow that is looking right in top of Daemon (who is at the right flank), click on it and order any ally troops to attach to you. Like this comment so he can see

Joeblivion my apologies that is not it, that only reorganizes the army. I realized this when i played today. You are missing the option, it is like a hand similar to this✋. I am guessing it comes with a dlc that you dont have maybe?
@@Yavuzgol44 Late response, but I might be missing the dlc. Sadly, a lot of DLCs are not mandatory, so you can easily miss out on features if you do not have ALL of them.

He needs to work some kinks in how he is going to start the new series.
So what happened was, I had planned to work on it yesterday, but I ran out of time. Between creating this series, along with another new series for another game and the fucking thumbnail for this, along with all the other shit I had to get done of my day off from work, I just didn't get to it. I will have to prioritize it this Saturday, which is my next day off.
Also, as CaptainWolf said, there are a ton of little technical things I need to do. Not to mention anything that is experimental will require time to test.

@@pigeonthemenace9454 ^This. I would LOVE to have free fly camera in M&B. I don't think Arcade Knight had that either, which sucks. I've tested the debug camera, but it is laggy as fuck and unable to record like I need it to.
