You should try and get to Licola Caravan Park in the foothills of the Victorian High Country, great camping, tracks and rivers with plenty of trout.

Your using the right gear, you can also use a celta spinning lure, keep the rod tip down at the water when retrieving the lure.

Redfin are great eating and there's no size or bag limits 4 them , they keep them in SA in our resivours because redfin eat baby carp but if you know what ya doing carp can be great eating too 😊
