Despite nowadays there are many things we may don't like and disagree with Chinese government, certainly Chinese culture has a large and ancient legacy of contributions and traditions for mankind.
I'm glad that possitive aspects like New Lunar year or any other possitive aspects of Chinese culture or anyother culture are being celebrated.

Lunar New Year is celebrated by not just Chinese, but also Vietnamese, Koreans and Japanese. Lion dancing can be found not just at Chinatown but pretty much every Casino in the World this weekend. And to all those born in the year of the dog "beware". It will not be a good year for you. It'll pretty much be a disastrous year. Last year was the year of the Rooster and it was my grandmas birth year. She's not with us anymore this year. She didn't make it out of 2017. R.I.P grandma. But on a good note... Happy New Year !!
