This is brilliant! Here in the US we are addicted to feeding grain, but in the past farmers relied heavily on root crops for winter fodder. I've been experimenting with my goats by cutting back on their commercial grain pellets and supplementing with parsnips, carrots, turnips and kale. I have the good luck to work for a large vegetable farm and can bring loads of produce home that would otherwise be tossed. So far I have noticed weight gain and an overall improvement in the appearance of the animals on the new feeding program. Thank you for the informational and encouraging video.
