The great Jay Silverheels! Third 'Durango' movie I've seen Robert Wilke in, (also billed as Bob, or Robert J. at times). One of the best cowboy bad guys ever. His best scene was as the fella who challenged James Coburn to a duel in 'The Magnificent 7'. Classic scene. Myron Healy (Lt or Capt in this movie) was also a well used cowboy baddie. Enjoying these movies. Thanks for the uploads.
This is #38 of the 65 Durango Kid movies. Yes, some footage is lifted from the 1939 John Wayne film `Stagecoach`, but it does give us a chance to see again that legendary stunt of Yakima Canutt.
I'm dropping this 👍 and 👏 right here for the guy yodeling. Best yodeling I've heard in a western. I've always wondered how yodeling made it into western music. Good stuff though.
Well I was going to say that these guys are naughty boys for using footage from Stagecoach, but I’ve been beaten to the punch. I’m waiting for the next Durango Kid movie where they use scenes from the Quiet Man and Shepherds of the Hills lolol

I just love Smiley, IMO Fuzzy Knight is more creative with the gadgets he creates and humorous just a comparison ,nothing else
Correction running wolf
Millennial types don't understand the humor and comedy sidekicks give these family westerns...
Yes that was stagecoach.
My God they lifted chase from Stagecoach.
Just enjoy the darn movie ... it’s harmless humor.., bad good or corny corn 🌾 I’ll still watch #danceswithwolves
haha great one. Looks like they borrowed some clips. At that time, film was expensive.
I believe that the Starrett/Durango films used stock footage more than any.
Jay Silverheels is lone eagle
No Jay Silverheels was NOT Lone Eagle he was Running Wolf.
