I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. If no one has told you that high note is from our main vocal Kihyun and having said that you haven't seen or heard anything til you hear him sing Lost in a Dream..that song is amazing! He also did a cover of the Imagine Dragons song Believer that you should check out too.

this domino effect also appears in shoot out (you should definitly check this MV and dance practices too). It has a direct connection with their storyline where one member finds a mysterious watch and goes back in time to save his parents. Because of this he gets lost in space-time. The rest of the members try to find him but each time they move in time they change the course of events.

This video made me appreciate their choreography on a whole new level. I’ve watched these so many times, but usually, I’m focusing on the person singing and not on the group choreography as a whole. This made me realize how complex and detailed the choreography really is and I keep watching every single bit over and over again because I want to see all of the details.

Monsta X do have pretty good synchronization usually, and their choreo is just on another level!! They have won many prestigious Performance awards as well, they are known for their stage presence (lemme tell you as someone who has seen them live...best concert of my LIFEEE! INSANE!)

The guy in blue that u said about conserving energy is Hyungwon. I don't actually know if it really is bc he's conserving energy but his moves are usually pretty laid back! You can watch it in their other dance videos. Interestingly that's what makes me a stan lol

When I started stanning Monsta X, it was manly because I was blown away by their rappers, but as I got to know them better I found out that they have great vocals as well. I'm really happy they impressed you, they have so many strong and impactful performances worth reacting to!

I was so glad to see them live when they were still all together because their energy and stage presence is something else, I was never on a more hype concert, they just have so many hard going songs and they always deliver with their vocals and raps 💕 Just one of my favorite groups, like every comeback was a bop from their debut on, I think next to BTS and Ateez (who are too new to have many albums) I have every single one of their albums and love every song on them 😂😂 Jooheons vocals are also no joke even though he is one of the rappers, his tone is just unique in any way (Listen to the performance of Versace on the floor)

Monsta X is a group that has one of the best rap lines in the K-pop industry. (Although, this is just an opinion, a lot of people agree as well) Like they spit fire, but they can sing very well. Jooheon and I.M. tend to bounce off of each other in several of Monsta X's songs. Dramarama and Follow are examples of this. :)

Yes! Jooheon’s voice is naturally like that. It has a similar timbre to a trumpet maybe? Its a very dynamic rap duo with a bright and energetic voice matched with I.M’s low and balance rap. As for the water performance, they did they’re first comeback stage in water too, if you’re interested in watching that on your own time.
Alligator was a cultural reset, since i saw the name of the song i was like "yes this is it, this is their best cb" and it was, such a good fun time with this song and ahhh i miss it so much;; this is i think also their hardest choreo they ever had;; Monsta X is just that group, i aint even a monbebe but damn they are amazing

Joohoneys Rap Voice is always like that. He gets praised a lot for his rapping skills
The song talks about the struggle between two people, like a tug war, each of them wanting to pull the other to their swamp kind of thing. So all the "struggle", the pulling the other members I feel represent that. Also there are parts where they are dancing the same movements but mirroed arms, instead of all of them lifting the same arm up, I feel it also represents the two sides in this push-pull relationship. The moves where they seem to "go and come back" with their heads-neck at the end, to me, also represent the struggles of a touch dynamic in a relationship, where there is the desire to control the other, to pull to your own swamp. I personally love the choreo for Alligator, Jelousy and Beautiful. I feel Monsta X has yet to receive the recognition they deserve as musicians and performers.
One of my favorite MX songs, along with Follow! Im obsessed with the part towards the end when Jooheon and IM are rapping back and forth, the bouncing back and forth between thier vocal tones is so pleasing to me ears😊
