- The Maya City of Tulum was once a thriving metropolis, a place where the ancient Maya people came together to trade, worship, and celebrate their rich cultural heritage. The towering stone walls and imposing pyramids were a testament to the advanced architectural and engineering skills of the Maya, and the bustling streets were filled with the sounds of merchants haggling, children laughing, and the quiet murmur of prayers in the temples. This is the Maya City of Tulum.

I was in tulum this past February. One of the best experiences of my life. The cliff side and the main temple, how it has archways of stone for the entrances… it’s pretty spiritual. The craziest thing about it is that when you’re in front of the main temple you can hear an echo, but there’s nothing for the sound to bounce off around you(it’s very open lol), instead the echo comes from the sound bouncing off of the temple. They had intentionally designed it so that whoever was inside the temple could be heard across the city… mind blowing stuff
