I've never seen this one. I loved HBO On Location and the Young Comedians Specials but I didn't get HBO until '85 and if they ever aired this during the mid-80s or afterward I must have missed it.
Robin Williams was already a breakout star in LA comedy clubs, worked on Richard Pryor’s show and was filming Mork and Mindy at around the time of this special. Robin cited his influences but he was original and one of a kind.
He was truly One of a Kind...I doubt anyone would or could ever match the coked out energy/sober energy of Robin Williams... He was definitely one of the all time greats with or without coca...RIP King Robin..
When I got to the USA the first thing I see was vote Chevy Chase. I then see a trump towers poster which I thought was an hallucination. The most unbelievable thing I see was if you buy something you have to pay for some of it, while asking what is the point of asking how much something is, thats tax for yah, Wooow, Weird!!!.
The faint tapping/heartbeat sound in the background was distracting. Chevy cracks me up just looking at him, didn't find most of the other stuff very funny.
@AOC's RAPIST oh I’ve watched alllll Robin’s stand up! I’ve watched him do stand up on HBO since I was a kid in the 80’s...I adore him :) he was hysterically funny on and off the blow ❤️.
Never heard of Denny Johnston before this but he was hilarious! Richard Belzer was good too and Chevy was fantastically entertaining as always.
wow, I'd never heard of Bill Kirchenbauer before, he really took physical comedy to the extreme! That was hilarious, and looked freaking exhausting!
Look up Gallaghers "melon crazy"
It sucked
4:56 cocaine is a hell of a drug.

I see where Robin Williams got some of his material now.

Totally didn’t get the pretending to be blind this 23:46 I guess if you are famous enough people will clap for anything.
