Nice flight review. :-) ❤❤❤ the cabin looks unique as I always see plain white white coloured cabin… i agree that the premium cabin meal looks very sad I didn’t expect that as well.
Premium economy looks beautiful! No need to upgrade when the cabin looks that nice.
The cabin is quite nice indeed, just the meals and service which was lacking 😕

Another great video from you. Actually I think the meals is enough for the length of the flights. And the seats look fabulous. I believe that seat on long haul flights will bring the comfort to the passengers
The meal size is not the problem, it’s the content and flavour (or lack thereof)!
The premium economy and the biz class for the short 3 hour vector from BNE-> AKL is a ‘reduced’ standard of service in regards catering. Bear in mind that the aircraft is on its way from/to TPE.
On the BNE -> TPE sector the catering is massively upgraded for both PE and BIZ.
Portugal Holiday Villas that is a fair point you make. Still not up to scratch though imo
just FYI. Mandarin (Pu Tong Hwa) is not a written language per se. The various Chinese Language groups read the unified CHINESE characters in their own vastly different ways. So in reference to writing it is correct to say that something is written in Chinese and a person might read it aloud in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka or Teochew for example.

Nice review but what about the seat recline ? Seems important yet few reviews include that info . And don’t the seats have ottoman like devices that deploy when reclining ?

Is this flight recliner real 120 degree ?
Do you reckon those seats would be comfortable enough on a long haul flight such as BNE-LHR? I'm doing this trip in a few months and would like to give China Airlines a go but I see a lot of bad reviews about the fixed shell seats. I'm about the same height as you. Would I be better off sticking with Qantas Premium Economy?
