🙋🏻♀️CT resident here im always on the look for old mines/caves when my dog and I are out hiking/walking through the beautiful wooded trails. I even got my mine maps app 🤷🏻♀️. We will hopefully find an old mine/cave one day.Stay safe happy and healthy ✌🏼

I know this location, the entrance was hard to find before the rock slide, and this guy goes directly to the access point like a bird dog!
I consider myself pretty brave but those caves freak me out. I guess I watched too much science fiction and horror movies.

Looks like it is east of the CT River, judging by the rocks. It's not traprock at that is WEst of Hartford.
