How Clogged Septic Tanks Are Deep Cleaned | Deep Cleaned - Zábava
As someone who lives way out in the country and has a septic tank, I can truly appreciate this
Almost all people will say it's disgusting and stinky, which is obvious, but if you never get your septic tanks cleaned then eventually your house (or neighborhood) will stink or flood because of the clog. There's always someone who needs to do these things.
Dirty jobs someone's gotta do it 💪
why do i wanna do it
Guaranteed employment.Cheers
Yeah
I know plumbers make over 100k per year...but women don't date them LOL
"Flushable wipes" shouldn't be flushed even into the city sewer system, it can still clog pipes that are small enough and mixed all the grease that can end up in the sewers it can lead to someone having to unclog it. So it's best if you don't flush them and just throw them in the trash like you would do with regular wipes. But still great advice.
There needs to be a class action lawsuit against every company that uses that misleading term on their products, and there needs to be legislation passed to outlaw putting that on products.
@@I_WANT_MY_SLAW agreed!
@@alexandervasquez9324 someone will do it eventually.
@@casedistorted Yes. But I was talking about having to unclog the pipes more often which isn't cheap to do.
then why'd call it flushable 🤷♂
Lol. One of the Septic business in my area usually has funny catch phase on the back of their septic trucks.
"Just another politician's load".
"I got the crappiest job".
"I'm full of sh---t".
"What a crappy day".
Sounds like something my Cities Skylines citizens would say lol.
Love this comment. We have a truck around here has a slogan We're #1 for your #2's😁😂
“Your bread and butter from yesterday is my bread and butter today”
Thanks for the feature! Smells like money 💩👃💸
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew it was gonna be this guy. He puts in that work!!
It's a tough job... but somebody has to do it. Thanks dude!
This is really disgusting but satisfying at the same time.
My wife says that
Deep Cleaned is one of the best series in this channel. 😊
Can agree with your opinion
All I can say is I'm glad there's people out there that do this for a living.
We had a clogged inlet baffle. The tank was pumped, but the problem persisted, so we dug it all the way up. We found that the baffle lids weren't over the baffles at all! So we had the whole tank top lifted and set properly, and installed risers (and of course cleaned both baffles). The last pump service took a tidy 20 mins.
It had been that way since its installation in 1950!!
Nice work done. This is because there are people in some countries who are called manual scavengers who actually go down there to clean which is dangerous and harmful. Good job dominic!!
Always wear scuba gear 😄
Thanks for taking care of our families.
We truly appreciate the people who is involved in this kind of work..
Hope people never looked down on this....
Hope everyone knows Deep down 🙏
In third world countries like India, sanitation workers are considered as untouchables.
It all started with satisfying pool cleaning videos then it took a turn towards dirty gutter cleanings and statifying dirt car cleaning now we are here watching dirty septic tank or clogged toilet cleanings, Cheers to you all for this wonderful journey mates.
This is one of those times where you're really happy that they haven't invented smell-a-vision yet.
Imagine falling into that hole💀
new fear unlocked
The forbidden bath
People do fall in and sadly often die because the tank atmosphere is very low oxygen and high in toxic gases. You'll suffocate if you don't get out in a few seconds.

Your doing Gods work. Thanks
Thank you for your service.
“flushable wipes”
For reals. They seem to clog city sewers too. They need to get it rid of the label ‘flushable’.
Anything is flushable if it does down. The companies are being sued and residents fined for the damage they cause. It's an epidemic costing taxpayers hundreds of millions a year in municipal sewers because of this intentionally misleading advertising.
Great video thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the update, Insider..!! Wow. Just wow..!! @.@
i'm watching this while eating.. Really boost my appetite.
Respect for this workers.
Also, this is the only service I will NEVER complain about the price.
Great video👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
"Customer gave us a call, their septic tank is backing up."
Mmmm, smells like money
Those wipes should not even be thrown down sewer systems. They are one of the biggest problems most municipal sewers have clogging systems from the house to the treatment plant.
Thanks a lot .. we do t live in your country, but your advice is really useful🧻🌈🌞
You guys have my respect and you guys earn every penny yall make!
*Wishing everyone the best sleep of their life after having seen this relaxing video!*
🥰🥰🥰
I was eating when CZcams recommended this to me.
you deserve WAY more money than other professions.
Dirty job, but mad respect for those that do it.
This is a tough job 💪
Satisfying to clean things
Just inspected my 3 tanks. I never use wipes they clogged a septic pump on me years ago. I noticed on my inlet it went into a T but had no inspection pipe on top side of T with a cleanout plug, it was just open. Been having issues with aav and vent pipes on roof sucking air through them on windy days. Should i put a small riser on inlet T with inspecton cap to not allow sewer gases to creep back up sewer pipe?
I'd hate to fall into one of those
Eating my dinner while watching this.
stay safe bro, i've heard lots of people losing their lives because they attempted to clean septic tank and fall inside. youtube keep feed me this just because i loves to watch true crime case, mystery, and horror genre.
Ok, chances are you're not gonna see this, but...if you do, I just had a clog between the house and the 1st take(the solids). First I had to go out in 0 degree weather(-15-30 with the wind chill) on Christmas Eve and try and remember where the tank was...just to see if it was overflowing as nothing was draining.
Opened that up and we could see the solids in there, so we knew it wasn't the issue. Then I had to call Roto Rooter to come out. 950$ to come out at ~10PM on Christmas Eve(in fairness, he did tell me it was gonna be expensive).
But this house is...100 years old(little less). It's had probably 4 different renovations, one in the 35 years since my parents bought it.
Can you tell me how you'd recommend I deal with that, or how you think we should prevent that moving forward?
My septic was pumped on Nov 2021 and I have to clean my filter every 2-3 months. Recently I have to clean it every month and it is caked with solids which is backing up the system. I am very cautious about what goes down my drains. Only liquid detergents, no hair shavings, no harsh cleaners and single ply TP. I do have a water softener that backwashes every 2 weeks. 3 people live in my home and my system is 1,000 gallons. Seems crazy that I have to have my system pumped in less than a year. I’ve changed this filter 7 times since November 2021. I only use liquid detergents and never use harsh cleaners. Every month I flush a green gobbler treatment pod down the toilet. What can be causing this to get clogged so quickly? I read it doesn’t need to be cleaned this frequently.
Lets give not just the people who do this work a round of applause, but also the editor who had to watch heaven knows how many more minutes or hours of video of poop tanks filled with all sorts of awful to make this video
That is the best fertilizer for your garden you will produce the best fruits and vegetables with higher crop yields.
@Robby M. Justice uhh not so much with human waste.
Certain animal waste yes, but human waste I believe is much more dangerous to use, and can be dangerous to your health.
Ahhh this is so freaking satisfying
It's cray how I thought this was one of the most interesting videos that I've ever watched
Someone needs to dive in into one of these
If you don't have much money then you would have to dig it out yourself and compost it. I would use a sump pump to pump the water out then once the liquid is drained out put a ladder down the tank put on rubber boots and shovel the sludge in a bucket have someone at the surface pull up the bucket to dump in the wheel barrel to be hauled and dumped in your compost pile.
Hey Dominic what areas in the hill country view service?
Awesome.
What is the second big black tube for?
This video should be on the new channel, the Cleaner Insider channel. :)

I live in apartments, and I notice the ground is sunken in two locations on line with the sewer plate. its dirt area. is that a nomal or cause for concern ?
This is better than teaching at a middle school and a high school
Blessed I 🙌
Deep Cleaned. Videos are extremely satisfying even if it’s disgusting.
Me: *Eating dinner*
CZcams: "Look at this giant sh*t box"
Seen a video of some dude in a gimp suit diving in a septic tank now I'm fascinated with them.
I’m surprised they’re not wearing huge rubber boots!?
Need gas mask, the smell can be nauseous.
Thangk you
A clogged septic system caused a shower drain to explode open and full size turds to fly out and land all around the bare feet of the person taking a shower at the time.
Oddly satisfying to watch
imagine the smell
eww i imagined
the city sewer system was built 25 years ago in our street, we had a tank for nearly a decade before that. no need to imagine the smell. i still remember it :D
Actually allot of the times there really isn't much of a smell, cleaning grease traps are what really smells
I was always told to flush rid-x or something similar into the septic system monthly. Does that help or hinder the tank contents.
It does help, most septic companies sell their own version which is usually much stronger than store bought. It's the same reason why you don't want to pump your tank completely dry so you keep some bacteria in there.
I literally can’t fathom the smell
The person who's been flushing those baby wipes should be fined
Interesting!
I Iived on acreage for a while. I knew the toilets went into the septic tank don't think I fully understood that the kitchen and bath water did too.
Where did I think it went? I didn't think about it! I lived in a place with a sewer system before the move and didn't have to think about it.
The more you know 🌈
yeah a lot of people see ditch in front of house and think that some of the waste get dumb there but in fact that just where the extra water if you have a well go when the water level go to high to not submerge the basement it will start a pump that will make the water exit when its rain a lot normally you can see them activate
What items do you need to clean septic tanks
At least this is normal. This is supposed to be this way and cleaned regularly. I clean bathrooms for my job and it can get pretty gross. But I'm grateful I dont have to do something like this cause I could never stomach it. I can barely stomach some of the bathrooms i clean at work, and I work in a goverment facility. Some really nasty people out there is all I'm gonna say lol, and they run our country. XD
“MMMMM”
“Smells like money!”
Literally that bad word,
God bless the world and prayers for the war.
Any recommendations to cut grease down. Many detergents and soaps have some form of oil in their mixture. Grease clogs are the worst bc you don't know where in the system its clogged. Luckily I know my trouble spot is the u-trap before the tank.
Minimize the grease getting in the sink in the first place. Wait for any grease to cool and pour into any containers with a tight lid and throw away in the trash OR soak up as much grease with paper napkins and then wash the pots/pans etc.
A Borax + boiling hot water flush is also a cheap, safe method to help keep the grease buildup down in drains.
@@SandyMachoManRavage already take grease out of pans, its the other soaps that are a concern. Those build up too. Thanks for the borax tip
Seriously after we boil water for breakfast about once a week I empty it in sink or toilet. If I have a clogged toilet...boil water and plunge it in there and close lid for a while...the hot water is the best trick
Out of my few years of labor I have learned to listen to the instructions of anything to an extent. I know it sounds crazy but if you listen to a properly experienced professional (no matter what field) you will yield similar to better results. For example. He mentioned flushable wipes only in the city as the packaging is misleading by simply stating flushable. In other words he knows his sh*t and educated us in 5 secs
For someone with OCD this is very satisfying...
Mmm except OCD would have nothing to do with this. For someone who loves cleaning obsessively, absolutely!
Don’t throw wipes down the city sewer either
Imagine taking a bath, and just as you're draining the water to get out, someone flushes the toilet while there is a clog.
1:52 its the smell right?
Yeah Poor Pumper Society!!!!!
God bless these guys!! But please wash your hand before you go home
Me seeing this video in my feed: 'oh, okay. I'm interested'
Me after watching 30 seconds of it: *about to throw up* 'I shouldn't have clicked on this*
How is this man not in a biohazard suit?
Now that's what I call dirty work.
Have septic. Don't flush wipes! Been 4 years since we moved into our place, so it's about time for a service.
0:51 where are the gloves?
I wonder how much it would cost to do a deep clean ..
Poor Plumber society!
Here in the Philippines, we don't bury the septic lids. Burying the lids is the dumbest thing to do..
Need to bottle this scent and sell it
*And he didn't closed the lid after cleaning them!* 1 in 10 person fall into septic water tanks monthly!

Looks like a crappy job . I'm here every weekend folks
Have you ever told a customer to not flush Condoms, and the guy says “we don’t use condoms.” That would be awkward. Haha.
Imagine the smell. It must stink worse than a dead body.
From your experience, would you say vacuuming waste is a profitable business? I am a UK based drainage company and am buying my 1st vac tanker. Its a £200k investment and im nervous but keen to give it a go. Would be interested to hear your view and other peoples views on this business. Cheers
I have the sudden urge to take a shower in bleach now
