May 20th 2006: Micheal Barrett belts A.J. Pierzynski after a collision at home plate and A.J. slaps the plate. Not that I endorse fighting, but that was awesome.

The Edwards 2 HR inning: what's left out here is that the first one was followed by Fontenot hitting a back to back HR, but with an extremely rare opportunity to have two players do back to back twice in the same inning, Piniella pinch hit for Fontenot because he wasn't keeping track of the game.

It's a combination of 1969, that whole New York-Chicago thing, and a friend from college not only being a Mets fan but also having worked in the Mets front office. The 2015 NLCS cost me some Lou Malnotti pizzas.
Anyway, the Crosstown Series is growing stale.
