This is my favorite from the album (lol I literally discovered the new album yesterday) and one of my fave Fever Ray tracks ever, so magical.

This visualizer adds a lot of depth to her character in "Even It Out"
I’m not sure the exact meaning of this song , but I wanted to share my interpretation of it . From an addicts perspective, I’ve been an IV methamphetamine user going on three years now , and when I first heard this song I found myself instantly relating it to my addiction, my first time hearing the hook…”it’s better than sleeping though” I broke down crying …cause all I could picture were those nights I struggled trying to hit , for hours and hours , torturing myself only to miss my dose in the end of it. No matter what though, i never learned to just give up or take a break instead id rather poke and stick, poke and stick, why? “Cause it’s better than sleeping though” 😪 Gives me chills honestly, very touching…Fever Ray truly is an artist. Way ahead of her time.
