Hi Mr. Clumsy. Nice map and good looking Hino. Bad enough they drive on the wrong side of the road but they put the steering wheels on the wrong side as well ;-) And some of the roads are very narrow. Fun map, however. STay well, sir.

Are the free truck sound mods good enough for someone that has no real sense of how a truck sounds in real life or are the paid ones always the better option?
Yes, there are lots of great free sound mods. Paid ones are only starting to come up, but the free ones have been here for a while. I usually visit the scs forums and read on comments from people to know if a sound mod is accurate or not. Mods list link in the video description is a good place to go window shopping. Enjoy!

it is unfortunate that the author of the hino himself decide to not share the mod coz we're not Japanese enough lol, he just kept commenting this and that over his thread that they're not realize he has just made a new mod

Pressed so fast that i deleted my 1.39project japan
Idk if you're still playing ETS2 but Himopan and Offworld has already privatized their mods because of some ungrateful ETS2 Modders giving the direct links instead of going to Himopan's Steam Discussion page. Not pointing fingers but it's the Indonesian and Russian modders probably.
Really love the Asian feel this map gives. Just curious to know, how does it compare with Promods in terms of optimisation and stability. Because my PC can run PM, but wondering if this will work or not. Thanks for the video.
I did encounter some frame drops in a few parts depending on the city, but for the most part it feels smooth. Let me know how it works for you. Good luck!
I think there's also a different sound mod for this Profia, besides reusing Kriech's DAF sounds.

so it's actually a daf MX 13 engine used in this hino truck? thought it's still japanese engine
Yup! I'm not sure what it should be IRL, but I imagine recording real sounds and mixing them is going to be very challenging. I'm not expecting that to come up anytime soon.
Hi, any difference of this from the 1.39 version?I mean new areas. I don't want to delete my 1.39 truck mods, so I am considering wether to upgrade this version to 1.40
Hi, if you're still in 1.39, no need to update. This one is specifically for ets2 1.40 as the lighting got updated and certain adjustments were done.

japanese truck shouldnt be that quiet tho it just a one muffler and its sound is very loud with stock exhaust

You can subscribe to the steam workshop mod called profile jumpstart. I think it has detailed instructions once you find it. Enjoy!

No this is mostly a compatibility for 1.40. That will probably come later as a completely different version.

No, sorry. Mod author specifically asked to link only to that page and not directly to the Google drive link. Check the link out and scroll down. You'll find it there on the first few posts.
