the burner works on its side handy for mounting on a wall 120 to 12 volt power supply are cheap and work good doesn't matter where you put the fuel pump you still hear it
Down here in Central Texas we are bracing for a three day cold snap, temperatures will be around 15 at night. The doctor’s office canceled my appointment. Work will probably be cancelled for Monday. I just looked at Denver temperature: -2F.😮
I have one of the all in ones in my garden office. It’s great but the one I have in my wife’s art studio is the same as the one you have. And that is definitely better as the fuel tank is a lot bigger in actual fact I’ve changed it to an even bigger one which last the whole of out British winter so more or less fill up in November and check it again in April 😊
What is the benefit of keeping a lathe or milling machine at say 50 degrees constant temperature during the winter if you use it? Less of a problem with summer temperature swings? Is it the oil being too cold and thick to cause wear? I know a surface plate would be out of wack for measurements although not sure on a milling machine.
just so you know, you would be perfectly legal to use non taxed off road diesel or farm diesel like Cenex ruby field-master in this heater. It would save quite a bit.
I have a espar diesel heater in my semi truck for bunk heating at night time. Does a wonderful job when it works.
Allotta heat going out the exhaust, couple mods that can reclaim that heat from the exhaust would be great.

If you're going outside with the fuel tank you might want to upgrade to an aluminum fuel cell. They run $60-$100 depending on size but last forever.

Condensation, rust. My heavy 10 is in the garage, flash rust all the time.

sure looks like he's running red diesel in it now.
Do the burned fumes get exhausted outside? Thank you.
Yep. There is a fresh air intake, and exhaust pipe. I have not noticed any smell inside.
Are you smelling burnt fuel inside the container? Thank you.
Haven't yet.
How are the fumes? Can it run on kerosene? What is needed for electric power?
they will run on paint thinner, and kerosene, and will actually clean the burn chamber of carbon build up.
Why not just delete the noisy fuel pump and gravity feed it?
The pump is needed to regulate the fuel flow. And to mist the fuel on the heated gauze
