Good morning, is correct what said>; this is the 40 CA track frame, with FIAT engine , 8035 3 cylinders, as FL 4 C and up, FIAT mechanical transmission with mechanical main clutch , 4 gears with mechanical forward and reverse and dry steering clutch and brakes.
Meiller lifting , bucket levellism , hyd circuit with control valve inside the hyd tank , all Meiller project.
ORSI little crawler loader were similar, with main components similar, but not totally the same of the FL 4 .
Orsi manufactured the crawler loaders during 60' s years, FL 4 tubolar boom time

Hi Ben, today i found this your video.
The FL 4 , FL4 C / D / L / M was the service school of many italian mechanics.
This Meiller version is totally unknow in Italy.
I worked, when i was a student, for months on a Hanomag K 5 B with Meiller loader.
Wasn't easy, because , for the first days, understand when the bucket was in plane, orizzontal.
But, step by step, i understood , the secret.

Oh, that must be long time ago! ;-) Think that Meiller loader is onlay a German thing on a FIAT track loader. Did you know who selled those machines in Germany?

Hi Ben, i think the Hanomag dealers, because there is another FL 4 C Germany version, with differents leverism and boom.
Isn't the same of Italian version, but isn't Meiller.
In all 2 cases, is incredible the bucket levers and boom difference from Italian std version: your version is very very strong, our is lighter.
If you see on the You tube videos, you will understand immediatly.
Ps, the Hanomag dealers is my opinion, because Hanomag never has manufactured a little crawler loader under the K 5 .
K 5 has the CAT 931, Fiat FL 6 dimensions, for example: bucket of 0,8 mc, + / - .

Hanomag had a smaller track loader too! It was the K4 as loader or dozer. It was sold under Hanomag brand but manufactured in Italy. But not by Fiat! Think it was an original Orsi crawler.

Eine gute Raupe , die 40ca! Habe selbst eine FL4 , das ist die gleiche Raupe , nur mit original italienischem Fiat Lader. Der Meiller Lader was besser , der Fiat Lader schöner. Aber alles Geschmacksache.
