The Scots were the most vocal supporters of Italy.More than any nation they could not stomach an English victory.Its more or less the same with the Welsh and Irish.
Id have had to switch off phone, radio, tv, not look at newspapers for a month or go online. We would never hear the end of it. The hype since Germany got defeated was unbearable! Its the media and football commentators and even politics this time. Thats the main driver for the other Uk nations to hope England get beat every tournament.
