The Boss ST-2 is a unique type of distortion pedal that gives guitarists the sound and feel of playing through a large, cranked-up, stack-style tube amplifier and has been accomplished through Boss' years of research in amp modeling, and represents a bold step forward in compact pedal design.
As with all Boss compact pedals, the ST-2 is easy to use and built to last, the ST-2's key control is the "Sound" rotary knob. With this single knob, the user can dial in three distinct stack tones, from fat crunch to punchy drive and all the way to ultra-high gain distortion, calling at all stops in between.The Bass and Treble rotary knobs let the user add tonal detail, whilst the Level control knob powers the effect's overall volume.
The ST-2 has an extremely versatile range of distortion tones and authentic stack-amp feel, and is ideal for guitarists of all playing styles, from classic rock to metal. Great technique and feel, and that Power Stack pedal really takes his ultra-smooth tone to a whole new level. It's probably the most natural-sounding distortion I've heard in ages -- not that buzzy and annoying scooped-mid sound most pedals go for.
Alex you just inspired me to a new level. Man you are good.

@josefrancisco6969 Pretty sure Alex is using one of the new Roland Cube XL amps.Sounds fantastic to me.
Roland's COSM amp modelling has been around for some years now but is still one of the best IMO.Sure as hell kicks Line 6's butt.

@@aurozappa305 lol it's funny because you're exposing yourself here, your true self. Everyone knows that the guys who are the most vocally homophobic _ALWAYS_ turn out to be gay themselves. They're discovered having sex with other men in airport bathrooms and the like. Or like that Hungarian politician who spent years being the biggest anti-gay politician in the country, being openly homophobic, his name is Jozsef Szajer, look him up. He was caught having an enormous gay orgy with tons of other naked men all writhing around having sex with each other, including him. He had to resign and give up his whole career as a politician because of it
So you're really giving yourself away with this homophobic comment. It makes everyone who reads it know your true nature. It's OK to be gay. In this day and age, at least in countries that aren't ruled by fundamentalist nutjob religious people like Saudi Arabia and the southern States of the US, you're allowed to be gay. So it's OK, mate. You should be yourself. You deserve to he happy too. And so it's obviously very difficult to come out of the closet. But in the long run, your life will be much much happier, mate. You were born this way. It's not something that you chose. Being gay isn't a choice anymore than being black is a choice. You're just born a certain way. So please, have some self-reflection, and be the real you. Don't hide behind a social mask, pretending to be something you're not. Because that's exhausting and will make you incredibly unhappy. Be yourself. Be the real you. Your life will be so much happier.
You're allowed to he attracted to men, and to be in relationships with them, and even get legally married to them. When you're on your deathbed decades from now, aren't you going to regret not being the real you, and wasting your entire life. You can't just choose to be straight, if you're born gay. Straight people don't have this constant struggle in their minds where they have to fight their attraction to the same sex and try to bury those feelings deep down. They just find the opposite sex attractive.
It's always telling when an anti-gay preacher or politician talks about the idea that being gay is a choice. There was that infamous interview on one of the news channels, might have been CNN. And it was an interview with this anti-gay preacher, I think he was from Jamaica or somewhere like that. And he said out loud that he has attraction to other men, but that he chooses not to live like that, he decides to try and be straight and try to force himself to be attracted to women. That's why people like him and you think being gay is a choice, because they themselves are literally attracted to the same sex, but they choose not to have sex or relationships with other men.
But guess what, straight people don't have those feelings. Straight people don't have attraction to the same sex and then have to choose to live a straight life. No, they're just born being attracted to women. They never made that choice
So remember, even if you choose to lead a straight life, that doesn't mean you're straight. Straight people never have attraction to the same sex that they have to try and suppress. They never have this battle. So you obviously have these feelings for other men, and you're trying to suppress them. But if you're attracted to other men, that means you're gay or bi. Even if you refuse to believe it
So take some time to self-reflect, mate. Decide whether you want to live a happy life that's designed by the way you were born, that was never a choice that you made, or whether you want to spend all day every day fighting your true feelings and being indefinitely unhappy, and end up having enormous regrets on your deathbed.
But yeah. Everyone knows, the people who are most vocally anti-gay, who make endless homophobic comments even in entirely unrelated discussions such as this one, everyone knows what these people really are. People like you give yourself away, it makes you very transparent and everyone can see in an instant what you are. Which is kind of funny really. You want to portray yourself a certain way, but everyone can see through it mate. It you're constantly saying things like this, then trust me, all your friends and family already know what you are. They knew it long before you knew it. They're just waiting for you to realise
But yeah the easiest way to work out if someone is gay or not, is when they're constantly thinking about gay sex and so bring it up all the time in completely unrelated discussions, like a discussion about guitar pedals. Straight people don't do that, you know. They aren't constantly thinking about having sex with men. They don't bring it up in every conversation like you do.
You're completely transparent. Everyone who knows you, knows who you truly are, because of comments like the one you made. It you don't want people to know you're gay, then you've really got to chill the fuck out and stop thinking constantly about your desire to have sex with men and so uncontrollably keep mentioning it in every conversation you have. Everyone can see through this persona you made for yourself. And the sad thing is it may take years before you eventually realise what your true feelings are. But yeah, straight people don't constantly think about and mention out loud about gay sex, like you do. You're really giving yourself away with these comments you make

@Imat00l its true though. some digital amps can sound good but a majority of them are hunks of shit. seriously, comparing a marshall mg50 to a jcm800 2x12. Pretty sure you get more out of a jcm800 then a mg50. besides digital amps are for people that are inexperienced with tone.
