Yes fl studio best thing in this world
What a wow
好聽~
i really love this tutorial!!!! it's so informative. it displays your work in an educational fashion and it's so good :D on a side note, i searched up what string vst you used and was horrified at the price and file size lmao. i'd love to produce artcore but i'm broke and i dont have good enough vst to produce the sound of strings well. otherwise, great tutorial
Thank you so much!! If you want to make artcore, you don't have to use expensive plugins, some cheap ones or even free ones will do it :)
@@uranus20tutorials ohh,,, hmmm. ill give it a try with free plugins then
@@cheri924 Give the spitfire BBC symphony orchestra a go, it has a whole orchestra in cluding strings for free
just pirate them bro@@cheri924

@@uranus20tutorials Is there a full version
Unfortunately this track is made only for tutorial purpose, so I'm sorry there's no full version ;(
@@uranus20tutorials Noo wayyy
this shit more layered than my desktop dust
Офигеть!😮
I think I'm interested in Artcore now
That’s so great!
How do I download the thing your using to make artcore?
What nexus piano are u using if I may ask? I can never seem to find a good one but I like the sound of yours
I used ‘nexus grand piano’, which I think is the best sound in all of the nexus piano sounds. But it’s all on you to find a good sound and make a good mix, so I wish you my best luck :)
@@uranus20tutorials thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply, I really appreciate your response
anybody know what scale was used for the melody? (the piano’s top line)
I used pentatonic scale, which is used a lot in japanese-style music.
This sounds like it belongs to a final boss rpg game like FF
Hi! At the end you did what kind of automation? I don't get it by ear
It's a sidechain for the bass :)
All I wonder is how the hell did u manage it not sounding like a whole mess at the end with all those different sounds
Nice Work!
When making this type of music how much knowledge do you need on music theory?
Very basic level will be enough I think. If you know how to write a chord progression and make a melody on top of it, that’s all you need!
@@uranus20tutorials sorry but if you don't mind me asking how did you learn music theory
Well, actually I didn't learn it. I simply got to know which chord progression sounds good and which doesn't through experience. So I recommend analyzing chord progressions of famous songs, it's a good way to practice :)
@@uranus20tutorials i literally made offkey music for 2 years and then suddenly went "hey this sounds bad"
How do I make a chord progression?
I wonder how you make ARTCORE's unique feeling.
And thank you for the good video
Thanks a lot! In the tutorial video, I made up a chord totally with my inspiration, but here are a tip that may help you: setting up a reference track is a very effective way to plan out your music. Try following chord from a song you like, and after some practice, you can make up your own chord with ease!
damn
WHAT VIOLINS ARE THOSE THEY SOUND SO GOOD????
I used ‘EW Symphonic Orchestra’ for the violin :)
how do you come up those melodies. you say let your inspiration do the thing but inspiration isn't doing the thing correctly.
Writing melody can’t be taught, and that’s why it is so difficult. The only advice I can give you is to capture the sudden moment your inspiration pops up. You can later use it it by writing some simple notes, or recording your singing, it doesn’t matter what method you use as long as you can remember it.
@@uranus20tutorials ok thanks
whats the song playing in the background at 4:53
It’s ‘Glimpsing Infinity’ by Asher Fulero :)
What plugin is the violin?
It's 'Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra', but any other orchestral vst will do it!
What are you using for solo violin?
I used ‘EW Symphonic Strings’. It’s quite expensive one, but don’really matter if you used cheap one. Reality doesn’t do much things in this genre :)
@@uranus20tutorials Thanks!
@@uranus20tutorials so what free violin plugin would you recommend.
@@treytrey-mv8cj BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover is pretty decent i think
@@uranus20tutorials ok, thank you
What bpm/tempo did you use for this track?
I used 160bpm for this track :)
what violin plugin did you use for this?
For this one I used ‘Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra’, but it’s absolutely fine to use other cheap plugins!
@@uranus20tutorials thanks~ I've been wanting to use a violin that can be used for solo, this helps alot
What's the sound source of violin solo?
EW?I am not sure
yeah, i used ew symphonic orchestra :)
Tyvm.and this melody is so good,I like sound mixing of this music
Where do you get your violin sound from?
I used ‘EW symphonic orchestra’ for this video, but for making artcore, free or cheap orchestral vsts will do it too!
Awesome thanks!
Step one: Write a basic chord/melody.
How do i do that help!
Lol i like how i know nothing about music and yet i watch these videos and try to make music lmaoo
U should check your emails
And also where do you get your drum sound?
That’s from splice, there’re tons of samples you can use with reasonable price, so I recommend trying it out
👍👍
5:49
whats the bpm? And how do you make a staccato portion ;-;
im absolute ass at it
it sounds so artificial and weird
I used 160bpm for this
The best way to solve the problem is to use expensive high-quality plugin. But there's another way: it won't be perfect, but try randomizing velocity, and if you have multiple orchestral plugins, layer different sounds every note. That way it'll sound less artifical
@@uranus20tutorials tysm!
what do you mean by layering different sounds? like different instruments? again, thank you for the help, im looking forward to learning artcore :)
Yeah for example, if you have 3 different plugins, you can layer 1st and 2nd one in first note, 2nd and 3rd one in next one, and so on.
@@uranus20tutorials oh, makes sense. Thanks!
Is it alright to add 7th and 9th on the chords?
Sure, it can make your chord sound more full and emotional, but make sure not to harm the entire chord progression!
Ah I see, because the lower notes sound even worse now, thanks btw.
If you build chords in low notes, it tends to sound very muddy and dirty. Building chords in high notes and cutting off some high frequences might help your mix sound better!
@@uranus20tutorials If I could ask, did the bpm stayed in 141 in this tutorial? Im just a bit confused that my drums were a bit slower than yours.
In this track, I used 160bpm. The bpm shown at the very first part of video is simply a default bpm when I open a new project. I’m sorry I forgot to mention which tempo I used, I’ll make sure not to in the next video!
So artcore is just jrpg music? 😅
Haha, that’s kinda true
Muse dash music
so.. basically.. anime opening theme xd
It would be perfect if I had vocals 😂
Not quite, wait maybe your right. But its more on the fantasy/dystopian type of things.
Would I be able to get an flp for this?
Yeah sure!
email me at :
uranus040220@gmail.com
and I’ll send it to you!
Thank you so much!
whats with the automation?
That’s a simple sidechain for the better mix. its basically volume automation of the bass
@@uranus20tutorials oh amazing❤️🔥 tho I always find the way ppl mix and use automation for these types of genre’s like art core, kawaii bass, digicore, futurecore, and etc. to be very complex
Actually we use automation in most of genres, and it’s very simple! What you have to do is to lower the volume of the elements like bass or lead when your drum hits. :)
@@uranus20tutorials W advice keep going🔥
u lost me at piano at the start😭
Its nice but this isnt art core
yeah sum1 gets it! go buy moar ruffneck collectionez!!
I misread it as fartcore and now I'm deeply disappointed
