Weißkugel 3738m from Kurzras (Bella Vista) - September 2020

Stunning climbing of the Weisskugel (Palla Bianca) with my family. We started in Kurzras (Schnals) in rainy weather, climbed Im Hintern Eis and spent one night at Schöne Aussicht (Rifugio Bella Vista). The next morning we had ideal weather conditions for summiting!

Hiked the Weisskugel with experienced Austrian Guide many years ago! Really long & exhausting walk-in over glaciers but magnificent panoramic view from the Summit across both Italy & Austrian Alps & epic summit ridge too!

Yes, the view from the summit is truly impressive! The Dolomites, the Ortler, and even the Benina group all look so close.
