@@divyanidhungel. Not worse than north Korea, but i agree by considering other issues apart from discipline policies.
It really depends. I live in South Korea at the moment. My school was verrrry strict, just like the video. We also can't have styled curly(?) hair, and we had to tie up our hair if we did. We had a teacher who would come in and out of classrooms just to catch students who weren't following the dress code. I still hate that teacher. Reminded me of Umbridge from Harry Potter.
But as we get close to graduating, teachers tend to not care since their busy with classes and etc. Also some students bring their makeup bag and do makeup during breaks because this was the only 'freedom' we had haha...
I also found out some schools in Seoul are much more carefree than other schools out of the city. So the students that you saw in vlogs were probably from big cities or they just don't care if they get caught. My school was fucking horrible. I still hate it.

That's my school rules. Baldwin Girls High School in Bengaluru.
Edit: All Girls School 🏫
I also go to all girls😢
There's same in Nepal
we've got boys and teachers don't mind us dating
yeah 😅 , still we used to break a lot of them
Same😂.. this comment brings back so many memories of my school days

Discipline is important and should be upheld at schools.
So you are telling me it's not what we see in kdramas
My whole life was a lie 😭
Duh. Keep romanticizing Korea
Tbh not all korean schools are like this. Just like how every countries have different kinds korea has it as well. Not all schools have strict standards it's obvious
I watch a lot of vlogs of Korean high school students and most of them are allowed to wear makeup in school. The skirt size also doesn't hair neither do the hair length.
@@linosofficialjereumi Most are private high schools.Public high schools r very strict
This is such a chronically online comment. OF COURSE it isn't
In Ethiopia 🇪🇹 no make up ,only uniform ,no long nail, you should braid your hair,no hair coloring,no short skirt,no jacket on your uniform😭😭😭
WE CANNOT BRING OUR PHONE
TO SCHOOL
Edit: mom i am famous
Omg it’s too strict😭
Yeah every school in our state has the same rule as your school, but we girls should always have two ponytails, braidsand buns
same in India also 😭
Same as India. In school life all this things distract ourself to make friends and enjoy ourself
Same I suffer the same problem I need to bring my phone because i use public bus but the principle didn't listen to me and give me a warning letter
That also depend on what school you go to. I used to be in a Catholic high school in Australia. So other than the no makeup and skirt have to be below the knee, everything we wear has to be from the school uniform shop (including hair tie, stockings, bathers, towels and socks). We also have rules on which uniform to wear in which occasion such as you always have to wear a blazer and summer you always have to wear a boater(bought from the uniform shop) but you always have to wear ribbon in your hair which is also bought from the school. I once got a detection because I didn't wear a ribbon on my hair for cross country (an every year event where you run for 2km) because i thought we wouldn't need to since we are running.
In india
No short skirt
No other hairstyle except two simple braids
No even light makeup
No phone
And more...😢

I know, I never thought I'd make friends and I actually came to have the best table. Then she changed the seats and I have no chance. But who needs friends anyway :')

That's not just in Korea tho :')
That how I lost friends bro. I hate the teacher from now on.

In India no nail no open hair skirt feels like gown

in indian schools even students have to make two braids also 😢😢

man as a korean middle schooler i can tell you that korean schools are not like this anymore (these kinds of restrictions started to be abolished in the early 2010s and in 2019 the government completely eliminated any regulations that might limit the students' creativity)

My school has no rules at all 🙃, if u r late (school starts at 8:00am, and the gates are open from 7:45 till 8:05) u can enter at the second period, u can wear make up and dress as u want (we have a dress code of the minister, like no shorts, mini skirt or crop tops, but no one cares about it so teachers don’t say anything), we can dye our hair and do the hair style that we prefer, we even have mixed toilets (which is not very cool to be honest, but was requested by the students for trans and no binary people in the school), the real problem of my school is that walls r full of graffiti and insults and the building is pretty old and with strong wind and rain gets damaged (like all public schools of my country) anyway my school is pretty much an exception in my country cause it’s a visual art school, so we can show ourself in every way.
