Double suona music is one of the characteristics of Chaozhou music. The large and small suonas are used together to make two sounds in one breath, which create a magical and exquisite atmosphere, full of wit and humor. "Swallows Flying in Pairs" vividly depicts the joyful scene of swallows in spring, both flying in the blue sky, and expresses people's yearning for a better life.

80年代之前的新加坡华人生长在多语言和多方言的环境中，目染耳濡，所以分得出潮州音乐和广东音乐。收音机从早开到晚，有潮丶粤、闽丶琼、客家节目。中元节和神诞街戯我们什麽都看：潮剧，广东大戏，歌仔戏。电视机播放香港黑白潮剧电影：陈楚惠丶方巧玉。我是新加坡广东人，潮州话会听不会说。
