    Do you have any imput about older Fers that's dryed out and getting tairs ,would you know how to rehydrate the old Fer so it doesn't tair out,?

      Usually small areas can be repaired , but furs do deteroriate, get brittle, dry , will crack, rip, and not much can be done if it gets too old. Sometimes, it's better to retire it and get a new one. You might be able to hand sew the rips and apply an adhesive cloth to the back, or some try duct tape to keep together, but overall, if it's too old, it's time to replace or cut apart and use sections that may be salvageable.
