I guess you missed the memo where he said that his vocal chords were literally deteriorating to the point that any amount of screaming caused him pain.

moshlyfe Though hes not screaming with such intensity that it could damage his voice. Hes screaming through his voice. Hes not doing your death metal, deathcore or screamo type screams. Hes simply screaming though his voice which, in all reality, doesn't exactly damage your vocal chords. Now its understandable if your doing it back to back for about almost 2 hours every show over a course of half a year. But just his vocal style couldn't actually damage his vocal chords. He would have to do the deathcore type screams in order for it to really screw him over. But lets hope his replacement doesn't cripple the band. Because a vocalist as good as Adrian, is irreplaceable.
Your biology is flawed. It's exactly the opposite way. When "yelling" (which is Adrian's technique) the vocal chords strain which cause callous on the chords. Repeated instances furthermore damage the vocal chords. When growling or death screaming the sound is dependent on air flow with minimal vocal chord use. The sound resonates based on throat tension, jaw placement, tongue techniques, and lip action.
First song I heard by then was Quantum Flux and I never looked back. Marcus has only made the band better and more diverse. Most importantly IMO, they're still heavy as fuck.
You can have that opinion, although it's a shitty one. But why post this crap under a interview with Adrian? I don't give a flying fuck whether they were heavier or not with Adrian, but I'm pretty sure he was essential for the lyrics of the entore singulariy album. And this album isn't only good in it's genre it also really touched me. Something Marcus will never achieve by covering these songs he has not written. So go be a fan of one of marcus' songs (which is absolutly okay), but don't you shit on Adrian. ****

@@pogchampminku2535 The thing is he did not say 'Marcus continued the band's legacy very well'. He wrote 'Marcus has only made the band better' as comment on a interview with Adrian. He can think that cause of 'diversity' they got 'better' but that's a [shitty] opinion noone asked for in this clip. As my personal opinion is that Marcus butchered most of the songs he covered and the lyrics got way worse since Adrian left. So I stand by the comment I made 5 years ago and no white knighting won't change anything about that. Have a good day sir.
