Spurs have 5 first team players injured but you dont hear them complaining about injuries. Bentancour was their best player behind Kane last season and has missed 9 months.

This manager is not elite, will never be elite. It is what it is. Table doesn't lie. Arsenal 5th, and currently right look 5th best on with on pitch displays. Maybe 5th a bit generous too

I'm a spurs supporter and they did what they've been coached to do ,sometimes it works sometimes it's absolutely frightening ,I expect them to climb the table ,Arsenal fans might have reason to be upset (might I say)buyt regardless you have good players ,good side ,good manager ,take a breath ,you should know better it's one game ,you didn't lose and you will climb the table without doubt ,catching man city is a mission for every team

Eddie is not good enough simple as that. The guy was not good enough for leeds so why is he good for arsenal. I understand the disappointment Lee, but maybe people are being a little harsh on your boys. Sure every club has injuries but losing Partey, Martinelli, Troussard (Timber too) and having Rice substituted is really difficult since they’re all key players. Plus Spurs had 8 different starters from last year-Ange binned a lot of the non-performers. They’re just getting started of course but they have a lot of quality in that side. Spurs are just not the same lot you beat easily last year.

well I am a city fan and we always have a drop-off in quality after a champions league match, it drains the players emotions etc so I knew arsenal would look jaded after the effort midweek, Pep rotates players to reduce fatigue but this year we have a lot of injuries esp the best midfielder we have ever had KDB and Rodrigo banned so champions league is hard on league form but Liverpool are going to be a threat to you and us

The substitutions didn’t make sense but there could be details around player fitness which may not be apparent to us.
We were unlucky with the injuries just before and in game.. it hurt our flow. Equally our levels weren’t the same & perhaps it was the midweek emotional CL game..
For sure we don’t have a genuine No9.. Pool, Spurs and Utd forwards would have finished the Jesus chance!

Arsenal didn’t score any goals from open play. They were gifted two goals - an own goal that equally could have gone the other side of the post, and a penalty that could have not been given.

Arteta over-thought it. Playing Eddie up top and sticking Jesus who is more of a goal threat and hold up play much better than Eddie on the left when we have Reiss on the bench is poor decision making.
Both lack ruthlessness in front of goal. Jesus wasted an absolute glorious chance when he nicked it off Maddison.

Also, I think some post game assessment of Nketiah is a bit harsh. But, 100% Nelson should have had a chance to start on his favoured left wing with Martinelli and Trossard being out injured. Again Arteta seems to have ridiculous blind spots when it comes to his favourites and those he favours less
