My daughter’s father is white; and, he was an abuser. It took just once for me to leave the entire East Coast to San Diego, with my then five-years old. I don’t venture where I’m not wanted.

I just read she was granted the restraining order not full custody as yet. Where did you see or read this?
This man was jealous of how much Keke was loving on that baby. There was an incident IN THE COURT DOCUMENTS in which he started to get frustrated with the baby while he was changing him and handling him roughly, so Keke stepped in to help diffuse the situation and finish changing him, and Darius slapped her in the head on the way out. He would also say things like "I see why male animals sometimes eat their young." This wasn't some power play move on Keke's part, she was LEGIT SCARED FOR HER CHILD. And when he realized that Darius' punk ass may hurt that baby, that gave her the strength to go.
People should not have defended his actions, over the Usher concert. That was a huge🚩 and it was scary, that people openly supported his actions.

Sis you did the right thing. I work in Family Court and the number of DV cases I deal with is exhausting. Mainly women as the victim. When that restraining order is granted I tell them, file for sole custody ASAP! 💜

As a black dark skinned woman it's not just celebrities it's black men in general they like fair skin women and the lighter the better.
It pains me when this panel doesn't READ and RESEARCH before disucssing certain topics; especially Al who likes to run down all the facts that he remembers verbatim to prove he is knowledgable. There are public court documents regarding the Keke situation. I will give grace in that at the time they recorded this, all of the details (including the screenshots of surveilance videos clearly showing the physical altercations) was not out. It just makes the panel look ill prepared, ill informed, and insensitvie.

Today they confirmed the granting of custody/protective order. And at minimum if production can’t do their due diligence to provide the panel with the necessary info, don’t add the story to the rundown. Production is failing them also.

In regards to Al’s comment about our darker skinned women. I’m a classroom teacher and I can only tell you what I see. I think a deeper conversation needs to be had about self esteem and confidence with our male students. The majority of our beautiful dark skinned girls are bold, confident leaders that have been told repeatedly they are beautiful, strong and worthy. The ones I know don’t compete with other girls. I feel like our black male students can’t handle that. They don’t have the confidence to deal with it. They feel challenged and their ego can’t handle it. These teens grow up to be men! These are boys whose mothers and sometimes fathers are dark skinned as well. I’m just not sure it’s a matter of preference because of skin color. It could be preference because this is what I can handle and feel like a man. Now I’m not saying lighter skinned people lack confidence. Im telling you what I’ve seen in my classroom over the years.
Claudia is not the person you can have a conversation about colorism with. She immediately made it about her and has a history of being insensitive/dismissive about it (see the 15 Minutes of Fame reunion with Tiffany/New York).

Ghosting is a form of emotional cruelty which can have very serious repercussions. I have ghosted people (in my 20s), but didn't understand how cruel it was until it happened to me (in my late 30s). People deserve and need closure.

I don’t know if I agree with that. I just do not want to date anyone light skinned. Do I find them attractive? Absolutely. But I don’t want to lay up with gushy eyes with them and exchange bedroom pleasantries. By your logic, that makes me prejudice to light skinned people which is inaccurate based on the DEFINITION of prejudice. In this situation, it’s indeed preference. I find gay/bisexual men attractive, but would I sleep with them? Absolutely not. Because I prefer heterosexual relationships. That doesn’t make me prejudice to the demographic. I find pork chops to be delicious but I’d rather lamb chops. I’d demolish a pot of collards greens but I prefer mustard and turnips. Preference doesn’t mean prejudice. It means preference.

You can tell Al is single with no kids. I'm not even a mom yet and I know for a fact that regardless of if he's doing what he needs to as a father. We don't take DV's serious enough. If I'm not safe my child isn't either regardless of is the child wasn't abused.
That’s not the way it works. . You can’t keep a child from their father based on him abusing you. Y’all have to choose better. You can safe guard yourself and still they have visitation. Also a lot of times it’s toxic and we wouldn’t want women losing custody of kids if they bust the windows out a car.

The ghosting segment hits home. I’ve stopped dating for a while because the last two guys I was even close to going somewhere ghosted me. Not having an explanation hurts cause it’s like why??? Now I’m questioning everything I did. But sometimes you don’t do anything, they just lose interest I guess. It definitely hurts a little more than rejection cause more feeling become apparent.

Look at all the comments they speak for themselves. Custody is based on the best interests of the child. For Keke to file for full custody as opposed to filing for joint custody was very telling. All they needed to do was wait. Now that it’s been revealed Darius is not only abusive towards Keke but has been aggressive with the baby yall trying to switch the narrative. All defends black men on the show all the time this is an example where blindly defending someone without the facts was a rush to judgement. Additionally the factors he listed for custody (being willing and able to care for a child) are not legal standard alone. An intellectual acknowledges their position must change with new facts and knowledge. They got it wrong and that’s okay. But being defensive over an abuser is NEVER, the way. I’m not writing a motion for summary judgement or an appellate brief. Your critique of my short hand writing shows you were being deliberately obtuse. Don’t miss the point trying to cap for an abuser

We as a community have to cultivate the love for darker skinned women. I have 3 suns and they like women that are similar to me. Im not a makeup girl so they prefer no makeup or light makeup. My hair is natural, long and thats what they prefer but arent against other styles. I consider myself dark and 2 out of 3 always like darker girls. 1 just likes them all including mixed girls as in black and any other race. My sons are all different shades so ive always spoke highly about their looks. Ive always been the type to point out beautiful black women and let them know that they shouldn't be afraid to pursue any women. I also encourage them to go for the smart girls, the kind girls and a girl who has her head on right about her goals. I talk marriage and not baby mothers. I talk be aware of who you sleep with because that can potentially be the woman that raises your child. All of this is cultivating and showing love to us so our children will love themselves and each other.❤
