In the US, Mexico, and Central America there is a dish that is made exactly the same except for the seasonings which include chilies in some form called an Empanada de Carne, There is also the Central American Pupusa which can be stuffed with pigskin, bean, and cheese, or cheese and a vegetable called Lorica, but they are flat circles and grilled rather than fried in fat.
Yes, "la empanada Argentina" is made of beef, but it wears also egg.
The spanish "empanadilla" little empanada in spanish is made of tuna... with boiled egg too, and the italian panzerotti, from apulia, wears also cheese...
Never try to find its origin...if ur grandma is near...a figth between an italian and a spanish grandma would be epic... :-)

@@hidayakamo I'm not familiar with South American food (I live in California) And once I was in Spain I was 12 and this Easter I turn 72 so just shy of 60 years and the food memories of that trip have faded.
These filled pasties exist in all continents e.g Cornish Pasties, Samosa, Jamaican pasties. However the fillings, pastry making and method of cooking make it wildly different from one and another.

That's it. When lockdown is lifted in the UK AND Mongolia, I'm coming over for a holiday. I need to try some of the amazing food I've seen on this channel.

That is like using the term "envy" and then trying to turn it into something positive.
Envy is never good.
Hate is never good.
I don't know how you were raised but trying to slap on a smiley face on two very negative terms is like trying to justify Black slavery or Native American genocide by saying "oh, it happened a long time ago".

Yes in India they make Husshur but not with meat inside rather they stuff it with sweet condensed milk mixed with roasted semolina and dry fruits...it is called Gujia, Pirikiya...even the moulding of edges are done exactly the same but they r made smaller in size...it is considered a delicacy
Gujia and Khussur are as different as night and day. Gujia is a sweet dish, a desert while Khussur is a meat dish, a main meal. Only similarity is their shape and that the covering are made with wheat flour.
@@nganbas Mongols have a lot of cuisine taken from India, may be Gujiya also they just happened to stuff it with meat...Similarly they also learnt Ghee n making other dairy products

Mongolian mukbannnnngggggg. I don't eat meat but love this channel. So ramson is a garlic... pickle?
I had to look up the word and if it is the same thing ramson is a wild onion called ramps here in the US. It looked pickled though. I've made these and served them with Torshi an Armenian mixed pickle that contains cabbage I make from time to time because it is good with boiled lambs tongue.
@@TheLittledikkins pickled ramps it is
@@hugosuber8233 Thank you.
After doing a little digging, it has multiple names such as wild garlic/onion/leek/etc, all referring to the same plant. It's not ramps but rather a relative of ramps which is found in the continents of Asia and Europe: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allium_ursinum
