What is a Community Resource Specialist

The community resource specialist is a new role created through the LINCC study, (Learning to Integrate Neighborhoods and Clinical Care.) It's a collaborative project between *Kaiser Permanente Washington and Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute with funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). LINCC piloted the role at two Group Health Medical Centers.
Note *Kaiser Permanente acquired Group Health Cooperative in February 2017 and Group Health Research Institute became Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute.
