Gotta admit, there's something beautiful about watching a group of skilled veterans stick it to the mob using their own tactics against them.
You could relax for an hour and just be entertained. Despite what people say, they like watching the good guys win and knowing a clear cut good and bad guy.

I was 2000's
that show was pure forumulaic - but it was fun to watch. You knew what was going to happen and when. But, it was fun to watch. seeing what disguise Hannibal would assume was the best part.
David Giles, knowing what was going to happen, was the best part. Which, was taking out bad guys that need to be defeated. Its still means the same to me today. We need a group like this now.
And the plans that Hannibal made come together!

The way that George Peppard so elegantly adlibed off-the-cuff like that near the end of the clip.....He was so good at inserting added adlibs that were relevant, ironic and so applicable to each situation. They don't make men like him any more

He was not a very nice person.
Dwight Schultz in an interview admitted that it was not easy to work with Peppard. However, Peppard was the most experienced one of the bunch so they put up with it. Whatever it was, this was a very good series.
I wish the A-Team were real. Then the world would be a better place.

No. MacGyver works for the govt., so can't work with the A-Team. Plus MacGyver was on ABC while the A-Team was NBC. Technologically, BA Baracus can do everything MacGyver can do.
MacGyver with the Fall Guy made more sense. Non-overlapping skillsets plus both are ABC. A-Team + Knight Rider would be a better fit.

Watched this as a kid. As a Army vet. I enjoy the show even more. We are all messed up a little bit😂
When I was a kid, I used to dream up crossovers of shows of that era. I cooked up an A-Team/Knight Rider one, and A-Team/Airwolf one, but my favorite that I continued to flesh out was my A-Team/Magnum P.I. They would have to fly to Hawaii (nighty night, B.A.) to take on a case that crosses with work of Thomas Magnum. In the process, T.C. And Murdock fight over flying TC’s helicopter, Rick and Face pull off the ultimate con to help save the day, Magnum and Hannibal cook up the master plan to save the day and catch the baddies, and B.A. and Higgins develop a surprising rapport. Also, by the end we discover that BA isn’t afraid of flying…with TC.
A genuine A-team/Magnum P.I. crossover would have been class.
I would watch that! Gosh, I can even see it playing out as you described it, it would be a class act for sure!

That would have been a great crossover.Imagine it as a two night two network event. Its starts on the A-Team Tuesday night on NBC,and ends on CBS Thursday night. It would have been cool having Magnum as a former Navy SEAL,and Rick,and TC as former Marines drop some lines about how they had all heard about the A-Team in Nam, and how the bank of Hanoi heist was legendary.

My previous job we had our own A-team. Somehow I always ended up being Murdock. One night at work I lost my name badge. I walked into the managers office, looked at him, and told him I needed a piece of paper, a marker, and some tape. I wrote H.M. Murdock on it and that was my name badge for the rest of the night.

mac-10 mocked up to look like an uzi, i LOVE 80's armorers
They did use genuine Uzis in some episodes but they were the long barrelled carbine version. The mocked up MAC10/11 is probably the semi auto pistol version. It may have been that fully automatic weapons weren't legally available for filming the show even when converted to blank firing

The way Murdoc imitated Porky Pig is always awesome.
The legendary George Peppard. Star of such epics as The Blue Max, How The West Was Won, Pork Chop Hill, Breakfast At Tiffany's, the Carpetbaggers, Operation Crossbow and the TV series Banacek, lending his talents to this fun series. I think the show would have tanked without him.
