  • Decided to fit a aftermarket M-sport bumper on my 2018 BMW F32.
    The bumper is a M-sport look bumper from the brand Goodgo. It came with most parts needed, only reused BMW badge and fog lights from the old bumper.
    Before installing the M-sport bumper instead of the regular one, we fitted a Maxton Design GTS front lip in gloss black.
    Any questions about the install, feel free to ask :)

    That front bumper looks great and love the BMW paintwork in white with that sweet lower lip ! Have you thought about putting on the M sport side skirts cos it really does finish the look off including the rear diffuser, but still looks nice without too ! Do u have speed humps in Denmark as in the UK which can be a little tricky so I’m a little concerned of lowering it to be honest !

    • @BMWORKZ

      Have fitted the M-sport sideskirts now. Only missing the Performance extentions below the sideskirts. They look a lot better. Might already have them fitted in this video.

    The bracket metal thing under the air duct you showed, can you send a link for that one. and is it possible to keep the bar you took of that cross the duct too? I dont think its meant to have taken inner parts off to have a bumper on. And especially the foam bar too. so what did you do at the end, some links would be perfect :)

      I had a paintshop handle the paint. They can colormatch with the current color of your BMW and get a very close match.
      You might be able to get et pre painted from some venders. But it will always be risky, since your color may have faded over the years depending on the age.
      My old bumper i have for sale online and should be able to get it sold.

Did you use the ones from the old bumper? I didn't see them during the disassembly. Any idea? Here are the part numbers - 51-11-7-255-361/2, 51-11-7-279-711/2. The last digit changes for the left and right sides. Thanks in advance!

      Hello Farid,
      I am not fully sure what i did here. I think they may have been included with the new bumper i got. Don't recall moving them from the old bumper to the new one. But they are the same brackets from normal to M-sport bumper, so you should be able to use your old ones without any problems. The part numbers you have listed are for F30/31 only, so if you have a 4-series they will be different.

I think I shall disassemble the bumper to find the truth 🙂 Again, thanks for the reply. Have a good time!

      Hej Pawel, jeg er fint tilfreds med kvaliteten. Næsten alle uoriginale kofangere i EU er lavet af det samme firma Goodgo i Taiwan. Kvalitet er god, men ikke perfekt. Pasformen er fin, men der få ting her og der som ikke er perfekte som låg til lygtevask ikke altid lukker perfekt til og måske nogle små gab mellem dele. Men på 1 meters afstand er det usynligt. Jeg vil anbefale at få grundet kofangeren på ny af maler. Da den grunder de bruger i Taiwan ikke er den bedste altid og måske ikke arbejder godt med den maling vi bruger her. Intet slår original BMW kvalitet, men til 1/3 del af prisen er det ikke et dårligt alternativ.

    Did the bumper come painted?

    • @BMWORKZ
      @BMWORKZ  Před 3 lety

      The bumper came primed and had it color matched to the rest of my car at a local paintshop. That is the most common way to go about it. Since shipping painted parts is risky and may not match well.

    Are the 4 series cars easy to maintain ?

    • @BMWORKZ
      @BMWORKZ  Před 4 lety +1

      Regular service and maintenance is just as any other car. They are pretty easy to keep going. Some engines got a few problems like any other brands. But if you read a bit about it, you will be able to say away from most issues and keep it running for many years.
      I have driven mine 60.000 KM, only changed oil and filters twice. No issues or problems with it in those miles.

    How mich closer is it to the ground than the stock bumper ?

    • @BMWORKZ
      @BMWORKZ  Před 4 lety +1

      I would say it sits about the same without the lip. The bumper does not go lower than the stock did. My car is lowered 25/20MM and with the lip I have not scraped once yet.

      Purchased a full kit with all the bumpers. Not only the front. So don’t have a link for the front only. But you should be able to get it anywhere. Best to purchase local, since shipping is crazy expensive

    • @BMWORKZ
      @BMWORKZ  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Kejon, These bumpers are mostly by the same manufacturer. I would suggest getting it local, since shipping for bumpers is quite high. You should be able to find these bumpers on both Ebay and the bigger Bimmer shops worldwide. Often they will not be called M-sport bumpers unless they are genuine BMW. Where are you from? Then i might be able to help you with a few known dealers.
