M&B Bannerlord Peasant Army Only Challenge - Is A Perfectly Balanced Game With No Exploits

- Mount And Blade Bannerlord Has finally released into early access after over 8 years of development and well the game certainly has some unique features and game balance. So today The Spiffing Brit is going to show off how Broken Bannerlord is by using an exploit to get unlimited gold! and an infinite experience glitch. I mean surely its perfectly balanced and not a glitch to be able to get the entire supply of food from a city for free and an infinite amounts of money too. . The Adventures of Bario are not over yet and his army consisting only of peasants has an entire world to conquer! So lets see if M&B Bannerlord Is A Perfectly Balanced game with no exploits or if using infinite gold and an unlimited army of peasants is broken. I guess its up to a funny montage of exploits with a cheeky english brit to decide. Ok well it is certainly overpowered... Really really overpowered.
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.
So sit back relax and enjoy Bannerlord With an Infinite Gold exploit and the Peasant Only Challenge!

I mean, ask the French how dangerous a peasant army can be.
Ask the British lol... we had a rough time with the welsh
But he already dropped all the grain outside the wall ... what should he do else to enrage them? eat the cake alone?
Well it is the French... anything that puts up a fight is dangerous.
Well, it's hard to say that they were peasants. They trained with bow stating at 8-9 years daily. Technically yes, but not really.
He’s on about the french republican army headed by napoleon. They nearly conquered Europe...just to clear it up

I mean as entertaining as his vids are, the whole "IS A PERFECTLY BALANCED GAME IWTH NO EXPLOITS" lost all its sarcastic meaning back when he started using cheats to fuck up game balance (like 100 stat man in crusader kings etc). Yea its fun, but doesnt really say anything about game balance when you're cheating xD
@@Baleur but the cheats in videos like this one aren't needed for the actual exploit being shown off, just used to create a hook for the end. I think its fine in those cases. As long as its entertaining lol.
@@Robjec53 The money exploit sure, even though the cheat stats effect the trade penalty, doesn't make a big difference, but when it comes to party size, that makes a massive difference, between the massive stewardship stat, and however high he might of pumped up his clan tier, plus perks that would've effected party size, his party size was pumped up to impossible levels. The only reasonable way to get such a size early on is through being a vassal and forming an army. Then it's just overcoming quality with quantity plus some luck. It would of been much different, even with the money exploits, if he had to stick with default party sizes and unboosted stats
edit: not to mention the ridiculous medecine stat was why only 15 peasants died in the battle with that army, as it has an effect on how likely did they die vs get wounded in combat, keeping casualties down, along with recovery rates
@@Anomalous_Ape But even with those the cheats were basically a time saver. It's more of well this is possible but you'd have to sink hundreds of hours in for it too work.

Top bug tester just doing his job.
This is a pretty good way to see if your game is balanced properly and if your bug patches have been doing anything. Your play testers won't catch everything so just send it to a professional exploiter and see where you need to put more work in. From my experience the most recent version of the game has patched much of the exploits out or fixed them to be more balanced but making money in bannerlord is so easy i can't imagine you'd have much trouble with that after the early game

9:17 This honestly sounds like something out of a really old-school fairy tale.
"And Bario, destitute of wealth and renown set forth on his quest. Openly he lamented his troubles, bemoaning his I'll fortune, until it happened upon the ears of a sly fox.
Said the fox 'Why carry on as such, brave Bario? It is unbecoming of a warrior. Here, show your decisive intent and strike off the head of your horse.'
Considering for a moment, Bario drew up his sword and took off the horse's head. From the wound poured forth a bounty of arms and armor and riches as he had never seen in all his days.
'Remember, brave Bario,' crooned the fox, 'The fortunes of this world come to those with sharp intent and a swift hand.'"
'The fortunes of this world comes to those with sharp intent and a swift hand.' (and a Sumpter Horse)

"A booze producing empire is not going to be successful"
Russia managed well enough.
they did do some serious arms manufacturing as well though...
Well... tractors and booze...
Bavaria would like to have a word with you.
Belgium: Come again?
In what world was Russia financially successful? XD
Looking at the other lord's armies when I've played this game, they already employ this peasants only tactic.
That's because the AI Lords in this game struggle to make battle hardened parties since they'd most likely would have been destroyed by the Player or another Lord and they barely go after Looter Parties which can be used to level up your troops
I cannot get enough of these videos!
"An entire booze-producing empire is probbaly not going to be very financially successfull."
Cue the Russian Empire casually making 40 percent of its budget from booze.
Saw this yesterday.. glad it's back!
That shop exploit was truly next level. I couldn't even laugh. I was gobsmacked.
How did that make it even into the beta? That's obscenely funny.
Clearly they thought you might like to slaughter animals in the shop screen to sell their meat to starving cities.
Great idea.
What the feature used incorrectly causes you to steal a cities entire inventory? Whoops
Oh and I wonder if bows are over priced because they have incorrect 'value' based on power or range. But that would probably be too simple of a bug.
In the character creation before you said it was Bario i was waiting for you to call him Meddie Frercury
Love your stuff as always Spiffing
Yeah having 500 in every stat is absolutely ridiculous, but i will give massive props to the developers as well for how well a lot of the skills can affect other parts of the game.
The two MVP skills here are Tactics and Medicine, being maxed in both can make even the most basic unit in Bannerlord put in some work in the battles if you look at the skills.
Woe betide any AI opponent that is on the receiving end of that if Spiff decided to use those same skills on the highest tier soldiers

Bario is Mario's cousin.
Luigi is Mario's brother.
Bario is Luigi's brother.
What sort of Alabama pretzel family tree is this???
Half brothers perhaps? For instance, Mario and Luigi share a mother, where Luigi and Bario share a father, and Mario's father and Bario's mother are siblings. I think that makes sense, feel free to correct me.
The reason your peasants are actually that strong is because of the medic skill that makes your troops tankier, giving them lots of health. I think it's something like + (HealingSkill - 200 / 2) health, so your peasants were WAY more tanky than any unit in the game.
Rankhole yeah also a lot of them don’t die
I think that’s due to the medic skill too

@@DarkwearGT That's bannerlord for you, they decided even the best tier armor in the game is made of paper.
@@Shero1337 He had mid-upper tier armor and rocks do blunt damage. Blunt damage goes through armor.
@@Rob526 "Blunt damage goes through armor" That's the problem, a bunch of peasants throwing rocks should never be a threat to a full plate knight. I don't care what their throwing arm is like, every looter in the game shouldn't have armor piercing rocks, it just doesn't make any sense. It also is just kind of annoying, when you get late game in a mount and blade game and you see a group of 30 looters you should be able to rush strait in by yourself and kill them all without taking any damage, cuz your in full plate versus a bunch of tier 1 enemies with a bunch of rocks! Blunt damage needs a rebalance.
@@Shero1337 The damage for blunt should just be miniscule unless it hits you in the head. ie a body rock full armor 2 or so damage, a headshot I'd say maybe 10. The throwing arm doesn't matter much, rocks are heavy and having one punted at your head should deal damage. If you don't want enemies to be able to hurt you late game, play with reduced damage or get arMORE mod. You should not be able to charge 30 looters with plate and be impervious. If want you want is a power fantasy, yet again play on 1/3rd damage. Your character is one man, he isn't a monster. Even then you literally can do that. Looters switch to melee when you are withing about 5 meters, and they don't throw rocks through teamates. I have literally killed over 40 looters by myself and I don't use a shield nor any real long range weapons. With mid-upper tier armor at about level 16. Literally just sprint at them, once you get 10-ish to agro the rest can't hit you with rocks since teamates are in the way, once you have plate mail you can probably outrun the looters, boom run a train.
Snatcher Spiff be like _"Not enough peasants? Let's try 1,000."_
