I was searching for ANCS video, and i found the most easy to understand about ANCS.
My wife is 30th week twin pregnant with first pregnancy, she has cervical incompetence without cervical cerclage and cervix length 3.5 with progesterone injection and i am worried about her. May be she can make till 34th week complete.

Not to be given to all pregnant women . Only those who develop preterm labor or who are expected to deliver between 24-34 weeks such as Eclampsia or antepartum haemorrhage. Plz watch the video for complete details

Maam if a pregnant woman is between 24 and 34 weeks and weight is not corresponding to the period of gestation according to LMP, or if the EDD of the pregnant woman is at 9 months…or the USG shows low fetal weight..can we give corticosteroid?

At 33 week Dexamethasone(IM) 3 doses of 1.5ml has been given at the interval of 12hrs,but fourth dose by Mistakenly 2.0ml was given, is their any problem for baby? Plz reply.

Documented PPROM needs to be closely monitored for chorioamnionitis. The mother may be closely monitored under hospital settings under antibiotics and Dexa coverage for few days. However, extending these pregnancies till term may not be possible because the loss of amniotic fluid doesn’t allow the normal development of fetal limbs and other organs thus, it might be prudent to deliver the baby after close clinical and ultrasound Monitoring and different patients would need different approach

Mam dexamethasone three dose is given to me in 38 week running.. no labour sign only i had a little pain and they checked my cervix and said it is two cm open. I dont know why it is given to me at this time..can i deliver normally if i complete full term?

Respected doctor madam , please let me know that , it's good to give it after 35+ weeks ? in my case no such symptoms are available but in at a very good hospital doctors applied this injection..why ? please help 🙏 , the patient is pregnancy with type 2 diabetes , high leavers enzymes , ( bile acid) , hypothyroidism and obs coli.. and also let me tell about the role of vitamin K in this type of pregnancy..please answer. You will have to discuss the individual case scenario with your treating doctor. Also, Inj Vit K1 is needed by every new born baby after birth and needs to be given to mothers if they have jaundice.

Mam i m 35 week pregnant nd my doctor prescribed me lungs maturity Steriods till now I have no problem no labor signs but i found watery discharge on my penty daily nd all i can take time about 15-20 days can i take this injections? My first delivery was a c section before 2.5 yr. Plz adviced me

Fetus was diagnosed IUGR in 28th week, but in 32 weeks EFW is 1.7kgs and dopler blood flow is also normal. Still doctor has suggested Dexamethasone. We are worried Doctor would want to go for early delivery but we want full time delivery. Please suggest whether it is important or optional.

Inj Dexamethasone for preterm delivery between 24-34 weeks has no side effects for the babies. It is beneficial against RDS, IVH and NEC

True labor pains will not stop . Any tocolytics if given are only to buy time for Dexa to act. However, in cases of placenta previa , mother may be kept under conservative observation under dexa coverage and if bleeding stops may be extended till full term
