We should fully agree with Ravi Sir's comment. Shaheen is no doubt a great bowler, but Waseem Sir is a GOAT. This game didn't see any fast bowler like him.

M. Zahid was a better bowler than him. Wasim was a medium pacer BTW who was good at cut and swing.
A great all rounder. Zahid was a strike bowler. Look at his bowling on CZcams. He had a pretty small career. Akram and Waqar like folks can do anything for money. The actual players like Wasim Raja, Zaheer Abbas, Aqib Javed, Md. Zahid etc. are not as famous because they were not that handsome or from rich families. Ijaz Ahmed and very less known Mujtaba were also classy boys.
Shaheen is not a natural swing bowler. He is more of a pitch dependent bowler like Mohanty. Akram educated him to use fingers properly after losing to India in U19 world cup. But at times he can actually execute that acquired skill and at times can't. Same was the story of Wasim and Waqar. Nobody knew them when they were giving their best as Sarfaraz Nawaz and Imran Khan were in lead. By the time young Waqar came into fame with his slender physique and thin moustache, he was no more a proper action bowler. His action had a major issue and his run up was too long to support his natural stamina. I always wondered that why does he struggle for his line and length like Shoaib Akhtar as they were not natural players who were fascinated by the games vividness. Waqar lacked variety too. Wasim was a high IQ player. But he lacked execution at big matches just like Waqar. I think Aqib was the best in terms of achievements and particularly line if not length. Aqib used slow ball as a real weapon. His spirit against Aussie umpires was great with his thin moustache. India always had better pace bowlers and athletes who eventually joined RECs, IITs and knew what the other brat will do even before him (alot like this brat).
