I have all six volumes now and I had no idea they glowed in the dark, lol (I only got vols 1-5 like a month ago, though...).
Yeah. It's a bummer they're _JUSSST_ too thick to slot in the sixth on my selves, too. I use the "kallax-like" shelves from Wal-mart.
I kinda wish there was text printed on the book spines. I tend to prefer to have the "book spines" out on Absolutes (rather than "slip-cover spines" out). I got over it though, lol.
Image definitely know how to deliver a collected edition, whether it’s a slipcase or OHC. I don’t have the budget (or space) for these but they look awesome together. Thanks Omar!
I have most of the run in issues, but I did lapse during the content of this book, so this is the first one where I really need to do some reading. Really wish I could afford to just buy them all.
I just finished volume 4 . Story’s were so sick🤘🏾 I picked this volume but got the signed one by by Todd. It’s also dope because it has a extra page 📄 of artwork 🖼️ we’re he signed ✍️ 👍
I have this coming in the mail, would really like confirmation as to whether or not they will be continuing these volumes after this one.. Great review, I actually prefer these over others that have been made 👍🏻

Damn i love these deluxe editions. Got mine a couple weeks ago. They look pretty pimp all six together! Any word on when the next one is coming? Hope they take it eventually to issue 300. Sand even do some of the side stories and issues. Would love to see a Sam & twitch deluxe. As well as the dark ages.

You won't be disappointed, sell the ohc's to help offset the price a bit.
Great video brother. Man I’m torn between upgrading from the compendiums to the slipcase editions. While the compendium is great for the price and amount of story you get. These give you the covers and with the art being enlarged that is a plus. Not to mention I already compendiums 1-4. Damn being a comic reader is a second job at times.
Throw them compendiums out the window...their aweful softcover phone books

@@TheMoheaddinbody yea. I bought all 5 of the slip cover Spawn books. I had the tpbs..but these are something else once you have it in your hand!
Appreciate the response. I’ll probably grab them soon. If not for anything else the art alone is worth the upgrade. I recently picked up the Kiss Kompendium and seeing Angel Medina’s art on Kiss enlarged is what got me to thinking about upgrading my Spawn collection. It just happens that brother Omar posted a video about the slipcase editions. But I’ll be upgrading soon. Thanks again
I know this are 2 OHC in 1 but I would of prefered 3 OHC in 1 & just have it regular oversized (basically an omnibus) I decided to skip these I'm happy with my OHC just hoping we get the reprints
These should have been 50 issues per book!

I'm going the Compendium way, and love it. I have volumes 1 and 2. Unfortunately, I find myself financially incapable of buying comics for at least a year, maybe more 😢 So, if someone wants to give away volume 3 I'll accept. 😅
Omar, could you confirm that gutter loss is less noticeable on the Deluxe Editions vols 1 to 5 as well (current reprints) compared to the OHC? I have all of the OHCs still shrinkwrapped but I'd like to sell them and upgrade to the slipcases, now that they've basically reached the same point in the run. Thank you!
I'm not Omar but I can confirm the gutter loss is less noticeable - but only slightly. But that depends on how much you crack your Omnis open, I tend to be too careful and not open them too widely. Anyway, I upgraded already, sold the OHC 1-10 to get the Deluxe, and I don't regret it for a moment. Only trouble is that it's clearly more cumbersome to read...
Omar , do you know if these Spawn Deluxe editions are going to be continued in this format ? I read somewhere they'll ongoing up to issue 300 but I can never seem to get definite confirmation of this .
