  • This brand has never let me down in over 25 years! This food processor has been to hell and back. Over the past 25 years I have used this same food processor for all my cooking adventures, all my live performances, all the cooking classes that I teach, all my CZcams videos, and more! Braun is the only brand that I trust when it comes to Food Processors!

    Your Braun food processor is better than the new Braun model. I read a review on Amazon from a customer who said their old one lasted over 2 decades and the new one (same one you recommended) lasted 4 years. If someone wants a long lasting one, I think Magimix is the way to go. They are made in France. I think the old Braun ones lasted longer, especially the ones made in Germany.

    I don't know about now but back then European kitchen appliances were very well-made my grandma still has her Moulinex food processor that looks pretty much exactly like this one since 1986 still going strong and my mother as well she got her SEB back in 1997 and it's still going

    If you are reasonably handy with a screwdriver, there are plenty of spare parts on eBay even whole power units Etc, for next to nothing. I've kept mine working for over 30 years now!

    Chef Dez I have been given to me this food processor Type 4259 Braun Multipractic 100, like the one you have in this video and unfortunately, I went to lift the switch lid to clean it up and I cannot put it back. Is there a trick to it? Please help me. Thank you.

    • @ChefDez
      @ChefDez  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes, there is a notch on the lid that gets inserted into the top of the machine when you turn the lid to get in on. This is a safety switch to make sure you can never turn the machine on without the lid.

    • @josephinezerafa3369
      @josephinezerafa3369 Před 7 měsíci

      Thanks for your prompt reply. Am I asking you too much if you can do a video about how to replace the switch lid, If you give me your email I would be able to send you the photo of my machine 4259 model. I am practical if I see you doing it on video.
