Looked at several videos on the planner but the are not fully complete reviews. This is the first video that offers us a full review of the planners. Thank you.
I'm so happy they brought back the large Passion Planner! I have an undated large Passion Planner Monday start in Aqua Blue. But I prefer the "feel" of the Academic Digital Blue. The cover feels different! But i needed an undated so... I love having the months up front and my weeks in the back. I date mine july to june. Thanks for this video.
I love the philosophy behind Passion Planner. They're planners are great too! My only complaint (and I'm probably just being fussy) is the greyish tone to the paper. I prefer whiter paper.
I never noticed that gray tone on the paper till you mentioned it! LOL. I held it up to a crisp white planner paper and then I saw it! I guess it didn't bother me, but I think if it bothers you then it will probably always bother you;) Not too fussy at all, we all have our pet peeves;)
I need those time slots, and I like all the boxes too. I've watched a lot of your videos on planners today and this is my favourite. Thank you for the review.
Ok, so I'm committing to this planner and ordered it right after watching your video. My ultimate favorite is the Hobonichi Techo, but it's upsetting to me how expensive they are and I can't justify spending over $50 on a planner. Thank you for your review, it was very helpful!
I understand! If you don't need the daily pages then the Passion Planner is really and amazing Planner! I hope you love your time in it:) Happy Planning!
I'm a Passion Planner ever since I found your youtube-channel. =) The thicker black line across is just perfect to mark things you are to do that day. Written it many times but worth saying again, you are one true motivation and inspiration person! Thank you! #lottaloveplanners
Thanks for this review, Amanda! I'm enjoying the system I have now (Personal Planner + Jane's Agenda notebook), but I might take a look at the large Passion Planner for a combined work/personal planner for 2020 or 2020-2021. I miss writing in a book-bound planner! After months of bullet journaling in bound notebooks, coils just feel so intrusive & bulky.
I hear ya;) I do love writing in a book bound too:) And I really loved my large Passion Planner:) Thanks for taking time to share your system. Have a great week:)
This is a great review. I started out with a large passion planner in 2017 and continued using that size in 2018. For this year I bought the pro size and it is a good everyday carry planner but I'm considering going back to the large size for 2020 and using a bullet journal to carry with me. Love Chelsea Brown. I've purchased a couple of things from her shop. Her designs are pretty and functional.
Thanks for chiming in Joelle:) I loved the Large size when I used it bc I tend to like to write large;) It did take up a lot of room on my desk when it was open, but I loved my time in Passion Planner, and still pick it up and use it for extra busy seasons or projects;)
Hi, Archer & Olive has a planner they do in collaboration with an artist that has a lot of water color elements. You can also do artwork on their thick paper or their journals and planners. Planner Perfect makes travelers notebooks that the paper crinkles and takes watercolor well. You can Lots of YoUTube videos on her Planner Perfect channel. You can watercolor on any of this great paper:) I think expressing yourself in journaling and planning makes it fun and enjoyable.
Loved this planner, I can see how I might use it. I could cut down the number of books that I use now. planner, appointments, vacation, planning, document my airline tickets, what to pack, to do, to do this month, this day and the note area for ie a life Journls, write my affirmations, websites to review, books I might read, ect. Thanks..
Waiting to purchase my 2020 Passion Planner since I have a few others already. I love the medium size. The large was too much to bring with me to work but this 2019 medium/pro has been perfect. I tend to have busy seasons and so I might go with an undated version for 2020. I need the hourly layout because I have lots of meetings and I schedule everything.
The Medium is a great size! I think it was so smart of them to bring the other 2 sizes back too:). Thanks for taking time to share how you use the Passion Planner:)
I've tried the medium size as a work planner a few years ago but didn't stick with it. I've always been curious about the compact size for my "brain on the go".
Hey Jen;) I think the compact might work well for that;) The only way I can ever tell how something is going to work out is just to try it;) They always run great sales, watch their IG;)
I actually just received my advanced copy and just shared it on IGTV this morning over on Instagram. Are you on Instagram? I will probably do a full CZcams video on the Daily, but it might be a few months bc my schedule is full;) Their Kickstarter for the daily launches Monday (10-7)!
Amanda's Favorites i haven’t been on instagram in a while but i will search and follow you ASAP ! I’m going to hold off on purchasing until i see your thoughts on the planner. I’m a spiral bound type of planner and am thinking of switching over to book bound for the first time. However I really heavily on reviews when purchasing something online. Once your review is out, I’ll make my decision. Thank you !!
Thank you for those kind words. The review is up on IGTV. I don't know when I will fit in the Full youtube review on Passion Planner Daily. I *might* be able to fit it in to December, but not sure yet;)
For my weekly planner I am now in an Erin Condren vertical. I have a playlist called "UpDates" I give quarterly updates there on my planning if you want to see what I am in and how I plan. I also constantly sharing that type of stuff on Instagram;) I still love Passion Planner and use it for planning and mapping out big projects.
Great review. I tried the small one for awhile. I thought the goal tracking was overkill for me and I missed the colorfulness of my Erin Condren, so I went back to that. I think I have found planner peace.
When I used Passion Planner I did add a lot of color and some stickers;) I understand what you mean:) I am so glad you are still loving your Erin Condren!
Honestly the PP paper is so wonderful it takes any pen well! It just really depends on your pen preference. And I always prefer differient pens depending on the paper texture and thickness. My favorite pens in PP were Papermate flair, pentel energel, uni-ball signo, and Pilot G-2. Hope that helps:)
Love you vidoes! can you reach out to day designer and see if they will send you their new weekly acdemdic planner for review. I would love to see you do a review on one cause right now there is no reviews on their new weekly planner so can you do it?
Such a thorough review! I had a passion planner a very looong time ago, but I might move into one soon. I also just started my CZcams channel :) Have you found that this type of planner has helped you track your CZcams videos?
Hello:) Passion Planner is something I have used off and on for all kids of things. I did recently use it for my Social Media Planner (including for Instagram). I have always used a separate planner or calendar or CZcams and Instagram. I actually just switched into my Golden Coil Planner for social Media. I have a Video about Golden coil, and I have been sharing about it on Instagram:) Good luck with your channel!
Have you seen/tried thought of the Kickstarter Daily Passion Planner? I pledged for one and also downloaded the pdf - but would love your thoughts as you regularly use daily planners. =D #lottaloveplanners
I was sent one early, and I have shared it on Instagram. I think I did an IGTV on it already. I will be doing a CZcams review on it in either Dec or January:) I think they did a great job:)
@@AmandasFavorites I'm totally new to IGTV so I only yesterday saw your 3 Q & As - will check for the other one. Sorry for not checking properly. =) Thanks for info.
Amanda's Favorites thank you so much! I love the EC size for my purse but I’m having a hard time keeping up with the daily! I’ll have to print out the handwriting test! I just love having a planner I can put into any bag I’m wearing.
Just purchased one for my husband. It’s a great way for him to track his fitness and work projects in one place. Hope he enjoys it.
Oh, awesome! My husband has never used a planner, and I love when I hear about men that do!
Looked at several videos on the planner but the are not fully complete reviews. This is the first video that offers us a full review of the planners. Thank you.
Thank you so much for that nice feedback! I am so glad it was helpful;) Have a great week!

As you are so knowledgeable about planners and journals what do you think of a watercolor style planner or gratitude journal? Is that even a thing?

Amanda, Thanks for sharing. Especially how different co. stickers fit in PP vertical.
You are so welcome!
Great examples. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Passion Planner really is a great planner that can hold a lot of information!
I really appreciate this video, thank you

Quite a fun surprise for me to see Gen/Stake Conf 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼☺️
LOL:) How fun to discover that we have that connection!
one reason EC might be different is because of cold or hot press paper. cold press has more tooth.
I have never heard of that! Thanks for teaching me something today:)
Thank you for the video. I wasn't sure to buy the passion planner but your review was great so I bought one! Thank you for the 10% off too!
Anna, I am glad the video and discount was a help! I hope you enjoy using your Passion Planner.

I'm soooo sad! I just ordered the Academic Pro, not realizing they brought back the compact/small.
Oh, no:( I am so sorry that happened to you Alisa!
Love you vidoes!

can you email me a link to the exact planner you are asking about? Or put the link in a comment here please:)

No worries at all! I did do an IGTV on the daily and I will be doing a full CZcams on it in January;)
Hi Amanda! Would you say the small size of the passion planner is like the EC petite planner??
Size is just about the same...the petite planner is a bit smaller width and height wise. But the Passion Planner is much thicker!
Amanda's Favorites thank you so much! I love the EC size for my purse but I’m having a hard time keeping up with the daily! I’ll have to print out the handwriting test! I just love having a planner I can put into any bag I’m wearing.
Gotcha:) Definitely try that handwriting test;)
I guess if I need to start as soon as I receive it, I should get undated.
yes;)
Can an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper fit in the back pocket of the compact planner (folded in half?)
No it can't fit in the compact/small planner.
