- Through a series of leaks from Epic Games, it has been all but confirmed that Planet Coaster 2 is in late game development and is nearing an announcement. I explain my speculation about the game's release and my thoughts about what features Planet Coaster 2 might have.

we really need more RMC’s and launch coasters in planet coaster.
I don’t like the current trains for rmc really, so I hope they change that which they probably will
I have seen multiple videos about planet coaster 2 and people saying what they would like to see, but I have never seen someone talk about a multiplayer feature? Wouldn't that be so awesome to make and manage parks together?
That'd also help with people making collab projects since instead of having to make each thing separate then have the one guy place it all down & publish it you can all build it on location.
@Tibytes Parkitect has multi-player, so it's possible
Parkitech over planet coaster, one is a extremely solid park management game, and the other is some roller coaster wet dream (one is really good at being a game and the other is like Minecraft creative mode)
I know i have on the steam forums of the game. Like i said there i too would love to see this feature added but i personally wouldn't use it myself but the only reason i still want it cause i know youtubers and live streamers for planet coaster 2 be even more great. No longer having to pass around a save file to let a featured builder work on that park, with MP it be so much greater for all content creators and that alone makes me want MP added just to see all the fun content others will make with others.
We could also hold live build compettions and much more.

@@Spiritwonder420 they could, but steam is still the number one platform on PC and the steam workshop is hosted by Valve (no hosting/storage cost for Frontier) and it's free to implement
I personally expect Planet Coaster 2 to have stuff we got in Planet Zoo like the weather and the tutorial for new players. Also Frontier might take a look at Thememaker Toolkit to decide what is popular for new scenery themes. There are quite some examples of items made by the community in Planet Coaster before it officially being added to the game by frontier (I look at you icecream painted black to act as garbage bags). But I totally agree on the waterpark stuff. But most likely it will be a DLC if they do it.

I play this game religiously still to this day. It is my favorite game ever.
the only things i hope for in plan co 2
is the long grass from planet zoo and some improvements on graphics

a dlc season pass thing like we had for plan co 1 on release so that those with the old pass like me
can just cancel that one and buy the new one :)
I would like walk-through attractions and log flume rides that may change direction, as well as coasters that may switch tracks.
I hope they have a feature were you can change the trains and shape them that way you don't have the default coaster skins
water parks have been my number 1 wish list item for planet coaster as well
I don’t think that planet coaster 2 will launch with everything planet coaster 1 currently has
Probably not everything, but im sure it will keep most key features.
Safe to say that it won't have licensed stuff like steel vengeance and copperhead strike, as well as the Ghostbusters stuff
All coaster types besides the licensed types will probably stay along with new ones (I really hope a Togo Ultra Twister is one of them)

I agree. It's nice that we have the single rail but I think they should make it single file seating like in real life
hope the game coming with possibilits to make new CCs like parkitect and indoorlands
they need to fix the coaster builder in 2 ASAP having to essentially glitch the game using the 4m method for smooth coasters is stupid
I want a coaster like Son of Beast!!! It has a wooden track and steel track. So it can go upside down
They should have the ability to build a whole resort. You could have the ability for guests to go throughout multiple plots of land.

I would really like an update to stations- separate offload/unload, moving stations, other stuff that big theme parks have.
I would love to see if we could improve our RPH count. Also, a riders per hour part after testing the ride would be nice.
I would love to see dual load stations as well. It would be great to have a way to measure ride capacity as well!

I just picked up the first planet coaster with the steam summer sale. I’ve been surprised at how good it is.

IMO no at least not what i would consider a time window of soon. I'm more thinking it be more official announced Q2 2025 then release of either Q3-4 2025 or Q1 like February of 2026 only then we might be able to play it. Soon to me would more apply to me we could be playing said game in at least 3 months or less what is very unlikely since for those not keeping up with the news / leaks they still gotta announce it so people know first before we can even say its even coming soon.

@@rgr__96 Also, Frontier doesn’t do huge announcement windows before releasing their games. They generally just release them pretty quickly. So it could be realistic we get both an announcement and release this calendar year.

id love some mod support like rct3 and most pc games have. id love to change out the graphics for more realistic ones like in nolimits2, and add more train designs like you could in rct3 i remember add so many different models of wing coasters in rct3. imagine adding a FXCoaster in pc2

@CaseFamilyVlogs I'm sure it will at some point. The original planet Coaster launched on PC only, but came to consoles after a few years. I think PC2 will be a similar case.
Also didn’t they say in a earning call that they’re releasing a game in 2024 that fits planet coasters description? I think we could see an announcement at gamescom in august or they will just announce it themselves.
no it won’t? god im tired of people always saying this and then expecting it to actually happen. the past like 2 “hints” has gone to some random park management game.
We have evidence that the game is in late development through various leaks. I start the video with factual evidence and later provide my own speculation. What makes you think that these leaks are illegitimate?
Imagine if we had planet coaster mobile someday
RCT3 showed up in the App Store with a pretty decent mobile port I've been messing around with on my iPad - not amazing, but also not terrible for five bucks... Planet Coaster has found it's way into the Mac App Store, so if it is optimized for Apple Silicon, there is certainly a possibility we could see it on M1, M2 and M4 equipped iPads 👍
