Adcice . 1) 8AD clamp . If no special clamp or the external oblique us too prominent that a 8AD cannot be used then 2) use a regular clamp like you and instead of the sectional matrix u can use a contoured tofflemire band . And cut the mesial so it seats further apically. 3) to ensure no voids.. try using the Injection moulding or snowplow technique. Ie. Add flowable do not cure. Add packable composite the use a condenser or microbrush and push buccal and lingual. Cure. Then do 1 or 2 more increment. This way the flow able only makes up a small amount of the filling.

Use caries indicator! Pretty sure there was still caries left in the cervical disto-lingual portion of the cavity 😊

Perfect! Maybe a tip for next time, you could also place the clamp facing the other way in this case to have more room to work on the distal side!
I tried that today. Worked really well! Though it's very difficult to invert the rubber unless gingivectomy has been carried out.

No. Flowable means less filler, yes they have pretty high strength ones but can nvr match packable
Ever X should not be open to and in direct contact with the oral cavity. You should first build the CL II wall with universal composite then place Ever X.
