- Every time we visit the children at St Catherine's Home , Mumbai - we are overwhelmed and humbled by their graciousness, generosity , zest for life, love and affection. Sister Shanti is the most unassuming person I have ever met in my life and a true embodiment of " the greater you are , the more humble you are" dictate. This kind of spirit is seen in the likes of Mother Theresa who is canonised as a Saint today and HHThe Dalai Lama .
The last time we were here, we were introduced to a child, the youngest of all who was the new entrant to the Home, she was shy ,unwell and introverted. Today we met this child completely healthy , integrated , full of smiles and confidence .
When one of the five groups lagged behind in the craft activity , all the children from the other groups began to encourage them and helping them complete the task, when they did , all the children of the five groups came together to rejoice in jubilation .It was important for them to have all "won". This kind of comradeship and inclusivness we don't see in the outside world.
Hats off to the loving care and counselling available here by the Sisters.
This is pure humanity , it is the faith and power of love.
From the deepest part of my soul, thank you friends for being a part of this initiative, we couldn't do this without each other. Everyone and everything counts .
Let us be the change we wish to see.
St Catherine's Home is My Home. I am 50 and today My Life is Blessed because of Jesus who chose this home for me when i was age 5 or 6 in 1970s. Thank you Lord Jesus, Thank you St Catherine's Home & to all mothers - The Sisters at St Catherine's Home. Heartfelt Thanks to Organization in This video who have shown love, spent one on one time with these children. I can see and hear how happy the children were.

I am deepali pandav I was also studying in this st Catherine home i still remember the days now i am 43age i am very proud of being a part of this family i am now working as a teacher for 16years i am only because of you this is my real family i really miss all the days i always tell my hostel stoyies to my kids every day and everyday they tell me mummy why you repeat the same everyday but i cannot forget my home my school and because of my hostel today i am very happy i am blessed with two kids
I was adopted fro ST Catherine’s home when i was 13month, (1987) now i am 36 thanks to all sisters who found me such a wonderful Family. The y give me love and affection to grow up well ❤
