- Nissan invited me out to Brooklyn to have a first look at the all new 2025 Nissan Kicks now with a bold new design, larger dimensions and AWD. The 2025 Kicks, shown here in SR trim, features standard 8.4 inches of ground clearance, over 30 cubic ft of cargo (60 cu ft with the seats down), and a class leading optional panoramic roof! 🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Powering the 2025 Kicks is a 2.0L Naturally Aspirated 4-Cylinder engine paired to a retuned Xtronic transmission. Power now can be sent to the front or all four wheels through Nissan’s Intelligent AWD system with a new Snow mode. 🏁

Inside is also a major improvement for 2025. Here in the top SR trim, we find dual 12.3 inch displays with a flat bottom steering wheel, a touch sensitive climate panel, large cupholders, and Bose speakers in both front headrests. The 2025 Kicks also features Nissan’s Zero Gravity Seats and more shoulder and legroom. While every 2025 Kicks gets Nissan Safety 360 standard, the SR gets Pro Pilot Assist adaptive cruise. The 2025 Kicks goes on sale this summer with pricing to follow soon!

Nissan has been going through a renaissance but this made it official. It’s a beauty and is offering a lot for the money. Definitely offers a lot of value. The Rogue’s interior is very good and this looks even better.

This really looks nice. Might be tempted to get this when it comes out.
Great design job by Nissan. Really like that they hid the V-Motion design in the grill and those horizontal LED daytime running lights are awesome. Wish they would've given this at least 152HP, but at 142HP is fairly the norm in this segment. This would be an excellent vehicle for city-dwellers/new drivers. I'm sure the price will hover around $26-$27k, but that's a bargain today.

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this crossover here especially now it has a larger engine and optional awd, living in Canada heated seats and steering wheel is standard across the model range but every manufacturer is different
Great video man! You killed it! What’s very interesting about the Kicks compared to my HR-V Sport is that it has way more options and a larger screen then my car can even get. Also an interesting note is that you have a large panoramic glass while you can’t even get one as an option for the HR-V top trim. It’s just something to think about if someone is in this segment. Overall a great package!
Also the cargo space is crazy too! SR gets essentially “self driving” with the pilot assist too
@@Allcarnews Really impressive. Even though it makes less HP I feel like this will be way more efficient than my HR-V. Think Nissan knocked it out the park.
@@soflojoshautoreviewonly hope is that Nissan improved their CVTs. Outgoing generation has only 122hp 114 lb-ft torque. This is a 19 hp boost.
@@Cerby1979 that is a big boost in power. I think they would have upgraded the internals of it especially now since it has AWD.

Nissan deserved the hate in the past, but they are knocking it out of the park first with the refreshed Rogue and now the Kicks, there may be a chance for them yet.

oh that doesn't mean anything, there isn't an engine made that didn't have a investigation at some point, even every popular Toyota engine has. It was based on 6 complaints of failure out of 480K affected units, not really anything to worry about. Nissan has been known for having CVT transmission issues, not engine issues, so more worried about that. @@STORMZ8

Well, color me impressed, Nissan coming in with the heat. Not to mention that, although it's capacitive touch, the HVAC controls are separate and they have little raised dots so you know what you're doing without taking your eyes off the road (!). Why can't other car makers do this??

This Kicks is much better than the outgoing generation. I’m assuming the Versa will also get a redesign at some point since the Versa and the Kicks had similar interiors (except that the Kicks had the Bose sound system). Would be the cheapest vehicle that offers a panoramic sunroof (between $30,000 and $31,000 my opinion).
Really impressive interior for the class
This will sell very well once they actually go on sale. The 19 hp boost is a big improvement. I’m guessing this means the Rogue Sport will be discontinued though the Rogue will continue on.
Versa will most likely be discontinued sadly. Carmakers are greedy and don’t like making small basic cheap cars with thin profit margins

That is similar kind the Mitsubishi platform, and the design like model maybe 2024 Mitsubishi XFORCE in Indonesia Market/ASEAN Market.
I think this uses dacia duster platform which mitsubishi also uses...

This is the only review that shows the actual car pre-production. The rest just show pictures. The car looks much better in person. This is also the only one thus far where I learned about the pull-down cup holders/arm rest in the back seat. It covers more features of the car. I learned more from it.

Nissan has finally turned the corner. It is putting out some nice product again. It's like the early 2000's! This new Kicks is OUTSTANDING! The 4 cylinder is a great move, because the bigger Rogue has a 3 cylinder.
A beautiful new SUV from Nissan with an external design completely revolutionary. Nothing to do with existing models. Maybe Nissan develops a new design identity approach to emphasize its separation and independence from the french Renault group.
This s based o the mitsubishi x-force, i think, based on its rear end.
So much for a "low cost loss leader". As shown in the video, I guarantee with AWD, that's a $30k vehicle!

Looks amazing but oof to the 140 hp. I have the Sentra at 150 and man it feels sluggish. I can’t imagine a bigger suv (compared to sedan) will be with almost 10 less hp.

Glad to see a fresh new design. However, Honda did the same thing with the HR-V. They gave it a nice redesign but dropped a ridiculously underpowered engine in it, I don't get it. This drives people to look at the Subaru Crosstrek which has a nice 2.5L engine.
You make a valid point though the most affordable Crosstrek trims still have the very underpowered 2 liter engine.
For such large looking vehicle from outside, legroom for rear passenger could have been better ..
