Quit complaining about the differences, Gorillaz has NEVER had a permanent cast, Damon is the only constant. They change some of the songs because the people who sang the non-Damon parts originally are either bad or dead now so he gives new people a chance to bring themselves to the songs. The whole point of Gorillaz was a band without an ego, it's about the music and the hundreds of people who have worked on Gorillaz songs, every song had guest artists. In the more recent albums it's become even more prominent and almost every song was sung by someone different with Damon pretty much just backup-singing and letting these new up and coming artists shine. Quit hating.
oi mate, Del the funky homosapien, MF Doom, De La Soul, Mos Def and Little Dragon are great artists on their own and just as good with Gorillaz. The rest though, i'll give you that. And Shaun Ryder is just.. yeah.

Bloody hell, after 2 hrs, Damon sits down, plays piano and sings, everyone is still tight and in tune - amazing! They ain't half bad live performers for a cartoon band :)

I got to see them during the Plastic Beach tour and it was the best show I've ever been to by far. Damon came out and talked about how he never thought the band would make it in the US and got choked up about our support. Very cool evening.
i love this! I just saw them in September here in L.A, it was the best show ive ever been to as well, everyone on that stage was incredible! ...It was our daughter's first show. Damon sent them set lists with his autograph & lil drawings. There was not one sign of "oh man he's getting old or this band isnt what it use to be" ....we were blown away

I remember watching it live on youtube while I was studying to my exams 2 years ago...I started to listening to Gorillaz in that same year because of their new album Humanz, but when I saw the concert I fell in love with Gorillaz and I may that they changed my life for the better, they are on my happiest moment of my life...yeah, its a story of love.

I would love to see 90s Damon Albarn performing these songs. He's still got the voice in 2020, but I think his age makes him reluctant to get animated the way he used to, and these songs could really benefit from an energetic live performance.

It has been a long time since anyone posted a comment, so I thought I would. I took my son to Chicago to see the, "Plastic Beach," tour for his 16th birthday. 33 years difference in our ages. Another concert goer told me, "I was the coolest dad in the world." It is very special when a dad and son really like the same band. Second time, the "Humanz," tour. Chicago, Saturday night, outdoors with a full moon. Unforgettable! Like Damon said during the show, "What an amazing band." My son and I agree. They are an amazing band. We are hoping we can see them again. I really wish we could have seen this show, but...

This is my first time watching an entire concert from begining to end. Even though I had already listened to that recording of Demon Days at the very end multiple times, it still managed to give me goosebumps all over and make cry. For all the pumping music in the show, Demon Days means so much more to me just because it's a song that I'll always need no matter what. It tells me I'm not wrong to believe in the best of the future, even when I'm surrounded by negativity or apathy in the people I see. As long as I can work on myself and know that any bad I'm faced with is temporary, I'll be okay. We can't be truly be happy without our moments of darkness, or else it would loose all its sense of meaning. This song always tells me to be mindful when in that darkness, but hopeful when the Sun rises again. Truly, it's where Gorillaz PEAKES.
